Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access because '3D Skills Start Here' was built with its community from the very beginning. On Kickstarter, over 1000 backers supported the vision of making 3D creation approachable, fun, and interactive — and their feedback shaped the foundation of the game. Now, we want to open the doors even wider, inviting more players to test, play, and contribute to making the best possible learning experience.

We deeply value real player input! Early Access allows us to refine the game together and honor the collaborative spirit that started this journey.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate being in Early Access for about 6 months, depending on feedback and development needs. This period gives us time to integrate player suggestions, expand content, and polish the full experience. If more time is needed, we’ll keep the community updated and involved.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version offers a limited, guided experience that teaches a few of the foundational tools of 3D modeling in Blender.

For the full release, we plan to include:
- A complete curriculum of lessons and creative challenges
- More tools, techniques, and advanced gameplay scenarios
- Additional collectible creator cards
- Community-inspired features and accessibility improvements
- Enhanced polish and bug fixes”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At launch, players can:
- Complete a focused, polished game sequence introducing basic 3D tools and concepts
- Engage in a series of challenges designed to teach navigation and object manipulation manipulation in a fun interactive way
- Contribute feedback that directly informs future updates
- See the early implementation of the creator card concept and share ideas on expanding it

This build is stable and playable, but represents only a small part of what’s planned.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The Early Access price is intentionally lower to reward early supporters who are helping us test and shape the game. As new content and features are added, we aim to increase the price accordingly.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Our community is at the heart of this project! You’ve already shaped so much of what it is.

We’ll continue to involve players through:
- Steam discussions & feedback forms
- Our official Discord server
- Regular developer updates on Steam and social media
