“Throughout Early Access, we’ll provide regular updates following our roadmap while reacting to community feedback. We currently expect to be in Early Access for approximately 1 year but it could be shorter or longer depending on community feedback. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our roadmap to 1.0 includes a new mountain biome and boss as well as new storm types, new character classes, and expanded end game content.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At Early Access launch we’ll have 3 major biomes with unique bosses, character classes, unique storm mechanics, co-op PvE multiplayer, crafting, base building and a huge world to explore with over 100 points of interest.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect to have a modest price increase for the 1.0 launch of the game, reflecting the additional content and polish added to the game. ”

About This Game

Storms in the land of Sorana work like dungeons out in the open world. Each one is guarded by tornadoes that hunt you and hazards that keep you on your toes, from lightning strikes to toxic clouds and fire spurts. Break the crystal to clear the storm for good, then set out to find the next one. 

  • Hunting Tornadoes - Outrun or glide around tornadoes that hunt you down, hurling trees, boulders and even enemies at you

  • Storm Guardians - Destroy the generators or find other ways to bring down the shield and fight storm-powered enemies protecting the storm's crystal

  • Storm Rewards - Gather resources infused with storm magic, and earn skill points from the storms you clear

  • Roaming Chaos Storms - Seek shelter and protect your base with a magic shield while large chaos storms sweep across the entire map

Build your base piece by piece, or move into an abandoned village house and make it your own. Place a crystal pillar at its heart to shield it from the chaos storms. 

  • Round Building Pieces - Build round walls and floors from your very first camp

  • Craft From Storage - Craft straight from any chest within your crystal pillar's radius

  • Quick-Stack & Free Repairs - Sort your whole inventory into matching chests with one button, and repair your gear for free

  • Free Placement - Switch between basic snapping, advanced snapping and free placement, and overlap pieces however you like

Set out across a procedurally generated world the storms have reshaped, with a new map for every world you create. 

  • 3 Biomes - Travel from the Whispering Vale and the Howling Woods to the Ember Canyons

  • Creatures Enhanced by the Storms - Hunt Galewings that escape on mini tornadoes, Mistwolves immune to harm while in mist form and Thunderhoof deer that blink out of bow range

  • Ocean Travel - Build a boat and sail to distant islands in search of new storms to cleanse from the land

  • Titan Ruins & Dungeons - Delve into dungeons and search ruins where the remains of once-great stone Titans jut from the ground

Defeat bosses to earn crests you can spend to unlock new classes.

  • 3 Boss Fights - Face the Squallreaver, the Earthbreaker and The Guardian

  • 5 Classes - Spend your crests to unlock the Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Forager or Villager. Choose your path.

  • 100+ Skills - Mix and match over 100 skills from every class you unlock, including 20+ active abilities, to create your own build 

Brave Sorana on your own or team up with friends in online or LAN co-op.

  • Personal Loot - Dungeon and ruin chests hold separate loot for every player so you don’t need to steal from your friends

  • Fast Travel - Place portals to get back to base in an instant

  • World Settings - Choose your difficulty and adjust the danger from the storms

  • Shared Quests - Complete quests together and progress as a group
