Why Early Access?

“Hi! I'm Michael, the dev behind TORSO TENNIS.

I've livestreamed the entire development of the game and added major content updates to the demo. It's been fun to develop in sync with community requests.

I'd like to do the same with the full game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“My current goal for early access is 2-6 months.

If there is a lot of community support, I will consider extending the development timeline further.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More limbs, more synergies, more tattoos, more bosses. I am also open to adding new game modes if there is enough community support behind these requests.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version is a COMPLETE micro-roguelike sports game.
As of November 2024, the game includes:
  • 88 Limbs (items)
  • 10 Limb Types (class synergies)
  • 12 Tattoos (permaboosts)
  • 6 custom rival boss encounters
  • 1 secret final boss
”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There may be a slight price increase on 1.0 launch, depending on the amount of content added to the game during early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“A feedback form is built into the demo and I livestream the development of TORSO TENNIS 3x weekly.

Community has been involved with TORSO TENNIS since I first streamed the creation of the prototype during Global Game Jam - I'd like to continue involving yall in the process of making this game incredible.”

  • Upgrade & Win. Spend your billz to upgrade your LIMBS, get perma-boosts from TATTOOS, or decide to rip limbs off the bodies of your defeated opponents.

Builds you should take for a spin

  • Are you a fan of SHARP OBJECTS? Slice through the competition with knife arms, scissor heads, and more.

  • Assemble a build out of Five "Leg-type" limbs for a fantastic speed boost synergy. (plus, massive GAINS on Leg Day)

  • Gather SPOOKY Limb set to open literal RIPs in the fabric of reality that allow for powerful offensive plays.
