'Early Access provides us with a great way to quickly iterate on feedback from the community. This will help speed up the development process and produce a much better product for final release. Most importantly, we will be able to iron out bugs and balancing issues that would otherwise plague the full release.'

'The plan is to keep Hyperion in Early Access until the visuals have caught up to the gameplay. There is no exact timeline, but it is expected that the game will be in Early Access for at least six months.'

'The Early Access version of Hyperion is meant to test the game's combat systems and mechanics with rough visuals and animations. The full release will look and feel much better and more complete. What is Hyperion?

Hyperion is a super-powered, multiplayer, PvPvE, fantasy fighter. Compete online against other Champions to become the Grand Champion by defeating your opponents and collecting all of the Divine Shards. Charge up super powerful abilities and destroy everything in your path!

🎮 What is Hyperion's Game Mode? 🎮

Hyperion's game mode, mobile objective capture (MOC), is a PvPvE deathmatch in which Champions will contend to possess all of the Divine Shard objectives, dispersed across the map.

  • - Explore unique worlds, battle creatures, and dawn powerful equipment while battling other Champions to secure objectives.

  • - The main Objective is to collect all of the Divine Shards. The game ends when a team's Champions successfully hold all of the Shards and channels their power together.

  • - Battle other Champions in pursuit of each unique Divine Shard, and prevent them from wielding each Shard's power. Champions will respawn when defeated, but will drop all of their Shards and Equipment.

🌎 World Overview 🌎

Hyperion offers distinct islands to explore and collect each Divine Shard. Each realm offers a unique puzzle and immersive landscape for memorable PvP engagements. Discover powerful equipment, and increase your power level as you explore and engage in fights.

  • - PvE Battles: Realms of Hyperion offer unique puzzles or challenging creatures that protect each Divine Shard.

  • - Equipment: Champions will power up, and find powerful equipment to increase their chances of victory.

💨 Evasion and Tactical Combat (Movement Overview) 💨

Hyperion offers a wide variety of movement abilities to traverse the map and engage in combat through various strategies.

  • - Ground: Champions can sprint, dodge, slide, charge, leap, and unleash ground-shaking slams.

  • - Air: A unique flight system provides verticality and strategy to each engagement. Champions will find themselves immersed in Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground combat throughout the match.

🪄 Unleash the Arcane Arsenal (Combat Overview) 🪄

  • - No Restrictions: Hyperion does not restrict gameplay to classes. Instead, all Champions will have access to the same massive library of abilities.

  • - Cooldowns: The absence of long cooldowns empowers each player with strategic versatility, empowering them to be creative and chain together unique combos.

🛡️ Core Combat System 🛡️

Hyperion provides a Triangular approach to core combat mechanics.

  • - Block: With a barrage of powerful offensive abilities, Champions can stop incoming aggressors with a defensive stance, absorbing damage and expending the energy of their assailants.

  • - Block Break: Offensive players may break the defensive stance of their opponent to leave their opponent dazed.

  • - Interrupt: By successfully landing melee on an opponent using Block Break, they may also daze their opponent.

  • - Daze: As a result of successfully landing a powerful blow or counter measure, opponents will enter into a dazed state where they cannot react or move for a brief period, but can still be tossed around.

These core mechanics offer balanced combat and mind games for every encounter.
