About This Game

Star Fated is a 2D open-world Action-RPG where you pilot a starship commanded by a ruthless criminal who will do anything to survive. Explore space in this free-roaming adventure with a fully voice-acted character-driven story where your actions and choices have consequences.

Your crew is trapped under the command of a dangerous villain and their fate lies in your hands. Bounty hunters, pirates, the Black Stars syndicate, and the Union Guard have already begun hunting you. Grow your wealth to improve your starship, fight every enemy that comes your way, and never stay in one place for long. Talk to, rob, or attack civilians, but be wary of patrols and of the people you harass – some might betray you to collect a reward! Do you have what it takes to survive the dangers of space, the endless onslaught of enemies, and the deadly power of your megalomaniacal commander?

Interact with human and alien NPCs to find jobs, expand lore, and uncover secrets that could lead to powerful Voidsea artifacts. Your starship is your character and your crew members are your ship's attributes. Customize your ship using parts from the ships you destroy and train your officers to unlock special abilities!  

Rob a civilian, destroy a cargo ship, disrupt a supply-line, attack an officer, smuggle contraband, or shoot down someone's ship just for the scrap metal. The choice is yours...and so are the consequences.

Find new gear and equip your starship with hundreds of weapons, engines, armor, shields, and Voidsea artifacts to fit your space combat play-style.

Space is open and vast, but you'll have an edge and will discover powerful rewards if you talk up the right people for clues and coordinates!

As your starship's newly hired alien crew begins to realize that they are trapped under the command of a dangerous criminal, they will struggle to obey his orders and survive the enemies that intend to destroy him.

Every space-pirate, bounty-hunter, civilian, officer, and member of your crew is fully voice-acted and has something to say. Discover everyone's stories in this populated galaxy!

Gather mineral ore from asteroid fields and collect economic tips; each type of ore varies in value across different regions. Just be careful--repairing the asteroid damage to your ship could cost more than you'll earn!

Space stations, bars, resorts, shops, and a number of other populated areas are excellent places to find work, enhance your starship, gather info, and get yourself into trouble!

Some enemy starships will have armor resistance to your weapons, and others will be too quick to target. Keep a variety of weapons in your cargo bay and be ready to switch your loadout.
