„Huanhai is a game of small decisions that add up over seven years, so it depends on balance and fairness: whether a hidden flaw can be found from the page alone, whether the censor's inspections feel fair, and whether old choices come back in ways that make sense. The full seven-year term is already playable from start to finish. Early Access lets us tune the numbers and write the remaining cases with feedback from real players' runs, instead of guessing alone.“

„We expect Early Access to last around 6 to 12 months. The exact length depends on how much the game changes in response to player feedback; we would rather take a little longer than add content that has not been tested.“

„Early Access already contains the full seven-year term with all five endings, which the free demo does not have. The full version is planned to have a much fuller desk: more routine documents each year, spread across all four seasons and drawn from a larger pool so that a second term plays differently from the first; more dilemmas, personal stories for the recurring characters, echoes and teahouse rumors; longer cases that run across several seasons; more endings; and animated sequences for key story moments. We are also developing court hearings, where you question witnesses yourself, and plan to add them if they hold up in testing. A court-policy system, in which imperial policies shape the story and the cases, is planned for the full release or a later DLC. Plans may change with your feedback.“

„The Early Access version is the complete seven-year term in Linshui County, from your first day at the desk to the Grand Assessment, with all five endings; the free demo stops after the first three years, at the censor's first inspection. It includes 70 desk documents (yearly events, routine papers, dilemmas, personal events, echoes and rumors), audits with limited Attention, the Dark Ledger, the censor's inspections in Years 3, 6 and 7, seven narrated annual chapters, an opening comic, ink-wash case illustrations, and save and load. Text and narration are available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German and French. Music and sound effects are still simple placeholders.“

Změní se cena hry po skončení předběžného přístupu?

„The price will stay the same throughout Early Access. As content is added, the price may rise modestly at full release; if it does, we will announce it in advance on the store page and in the Steam news. Content added during Early Access is included for everyone who owns the game; larger expansions after release may be offered separately as DLC.“

„Players shape this game. Bug reports, balance notes and suggestions are welcome in the Steam Community discussions, which we read regularly, and feedback from the free demo is being collected to guide the first Early Access updates. We plan regular updates during Early Access, each with patch notes posted as Steam news, so you can see what changed and why.“
