About This Game

In Helios Horizon you play as a robot mercenary, built and employed by Helios Horizon Inc.

Annihilate endless hordes of aliens in this action-packed sci-fi roguelite to fulfill your mission. For every mission completed, and every monster slain, Helios Horizon rewards its employees. Choose between upgrades to firearms or equipment to be an even more devastating mercenary.

Even if you are destroyed, the company will reassemble you. Helios Horizon cares about its property. Your upgrades will be preserved. With every death you will become stronger.

• Hand-crafted 2.5D Pixelart: Who needs 3D models when you can use 5+ planes to build entire buildings and brigdes? (Disclaimer: There may be one secret 3D model hidden in World 3)

• 3 distinct Worlds: A Steppe plagued by goo-like aliens, a Red Planet where metal and concrete grow naturally like plants, and a futuristic Industrial Zone where deprecated robots run rampant

• Metaprogression: Every failure brings experience. Not even destruction can save you from working. Don't worry, your memories get uploaded to the cloud, so you will be as good as afterwards!

•  Environmental Storytelling: Since there is no dialogue, I had to fit the lore...somewhere.

• Arachnophobia friendly spiders: Because a single pixel (or even 5) can hardly be recognized as a spider.

The Demo includes around half of the equipment and weapons available in the full release, as well as 1 out of the 3 worlds (the steppe).
