Miksi Early Access?

We want to let people start playing the game without having to wait even longer, but acknowledge that the game isn't finished yet. There are some very important features which need adding, before we consider the game to no longer be in 'early access'.

Until the important features list shown below is completed.

The most important features we want to add before leaving Early Access include:

Leaderboards.
Player to player trading.
Project Milestone.
Party system.
Multiplayer dungeons.
Combat improvements, including skill trees and special attacks to make enemies and factions more distinct.
Player vs player combat (PvP).
Episode 5 - Stonemaw Hill.
More quests.

Even after the game leaves Early Access we still plan to regularly update it with new episodes, new quests, new professions, and other new content. This isn't a game we ever expect to be 'finished'.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version is fully playable and already has hundreds of hours of gameplay. All of the features described in the 'About This Game' section are already available. There will NOT be a save reset at the end of early access.

The price will not change when we leave early access. However we may increase the price at a later date, once we have more episodes.

Brighter Shores is an all new adventure from award winning MMORPG designer Andrew Gower. Explore a land of magic and mysteries, with a huge number of professions to try, and something new to find around every corner. Brighter Shores features an ongoing story and hundreds of hours of gameplay.

As the newest recruit in the Hopeport town guard, you are looking to make a name for yourself. This soon turns out to be a more challenging role than you had anticipated, with a strange storm raging over the harbor and unrest from the local goblins.

You will discover powerful magic sources and become one of the legendary classes of old: Cryoknight, Guardian or Hammermage. Which is fortunate, because something is corrupting the deepest reaches of the nearby Hopeforest, and only through the strength of your new-found powers will you be able to deal with it.

Learn a diverse range of professions, such as Fisher, Forager, Chef.

Woodcutter, Miner, Alchemist

Stonemason, Merchant, Blacksmith, and many more!

Encounter a huge variety of fantastical foes over the course of your adventures.

The game will be constantly expanding, with new content being released in an episodic format. Each episode features its own unique side quests, professions and lands, as well as advancing the central story.

There are hours and hours of content you can play for free. However, if you want more stories, professions and places to explore, you can buy a Premium Pass. A Premium Pass gives you many benefits, including access to all released episodes:
