„At One More Game, we believe in Alpha Driven Development: putting games in players’ hands early, listening, iterating, and improving together. SWAPMEAT was designed from the ground up for Early Access. Our community has shaped every weapon, ability, and system over two years of testing.

Early Access is the next stage: opening the doors wider, gathering feedback at scale, and proving our systems work. We don’t ship when we think it’s done; we ship when we and the players agree it’s ready. That collaboration is the heart of how we make games.“

Přibližně jak dlouho bude tato hra v předběžném přístupu?

„We’ll exit Early Access when we and the players agree that it’s ready for launch. We’re not driven by dates — we’re driven by quality, and by confidence that the game delivers everything players expect from a full release.

That said, we expect to launch sometime in 2026. After eight Meat Labs (our public playtests) over the past two years, we’re well past the “figure it out” stage — Early Access is about refinement, balance, and polishing the experience alongside our community.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„We plan to include the full campaign, more items and enemies, expanded meta progression systems, additional support for Steam’s services – like achievements, support for more languages, and new ways to play designed to keep players experimenting and having fun for hundreds of hours.

Early Access is about expanding and tuning those systems by engaging with our players as we lock our foundation into its complete vision, shaped by their input, and lots of balance improvements.“

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„Thousands of Meat Lab testers have praised SWAPMEAT’s meat-swapping mechanic and fast, satisfying combat over our two years of public testing.

The Early Access version has a partial campaign, 14 difficulty levels to challenge yourself, four-player co-operative multiplayer (or play solo), and Random Solar Systems — a replayable experience built to keep players playing long after finishing the campaign. Many of our meta progression systems are already online and evolving with each update.“

„No price increase from Early Access start to Launch.

Early Access players receive exclusive Founders Edition rewards (cosmetics, profile badges, and recognition) that won’t be available after full release. You’re locking in the price while getting early access to updates and exclusive rewards for supporting us first.“

Jak plánujete zapojit komunitu do vývoje této hry?

„Community testing is core to how we work. Early Access is the next step for SWAPMEAT in our Alpha Driven Development process, where players help us measure balance, stress-test systems, and uncover what’s most fun.

The One More Game developers are very active in our Discord, which is also a great place to connect with the Meat Lab testers — some of whom have been helping shape SWAPMEAT for years. We’ll also be keeping an eye on the Steam forums and our social channels.

Through Steam and Discord news, we’ll keep sharing updates, patch notes, and experiments — join us, say hello, and help us shape SWAPMEAT for launch.“
