“There are still major updates and features that I want to add to Boink. I am also still in a state of balancing a game that has as many numbers as this, so I am still making significant tweaks to gameplay.

This game started as a weekend challenge to make a game, to a non-consecutive 7 months to refine it down and get it into the state that it is in now. While it has been a significant hurdle for me to get it onto Steam, this is just the starting point of Boink development. I eventually want to lay out Phases of features I want to add, to both serve as milestones for development, and to let the community know the direction Boink is heading in.”

“I have set a goal of no longer than 2.5 years. It may come earlier than that depending on the direction Boink may head in, but I don't want to drag something out longer than it needs to. I also want to be upfront with the community for anything that affects the timeline of Boink development.”

“Prices will stay where they are until Boink leaves early access. This is another thing I want to be upfront with the community with if anything affects this decision.”

“Working out the details of how to best make this efficient, but I made the game for other people to play and I care about that opinion and feedback. Balancing a game like this is hard, and I appreciate anyone's constructive feedback on how that can be done better.”
