Why Early Access?

“As a solo developer, feedback and external opinions are extremely valuable. By including a community in this project, we can create a game that is fun to play for everyone, not just myself.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I anticipate Early Access to last anywhere between 6-12 months, but an extension is certainly possible. It will largely depend on the pace of development, and whether there is enough community support for the project to continue its development beyond the current timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I intend to add much more content, including construction elements, explorable wreckage, and various other gameplay and quality of life improvements. I have a lengthy list of things I want to add, but exactly what will be added will depend largely on community feedback. The game will remain playable and stable throughout Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game offers over two hours of tech progression, but as a sandbox, there really isn't a limit. You can explore wreckage and establish a humble space station orbiting the planet Saturn.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It is expected that the price will increase as new content and features are added throughout Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The Discord server will act as a hub for development, where feedback, ideas, and bugs can be shared. I plan to discuss the roadmap with members as much as possible and share the process of development with those who are interested. Regular updates will also be posted to the YouTube channel, as well as on all of the other social media channels.”

About This Game

Untethered is a space survival sandbox set in our own cosmic backyard. Use your suit's thrusters to maneuver through a zero-gravity environment, scavenging materials, building your station, and fighting to stay alive in the unforgiving realm of deep space.


Using a modular construction system, build your very own space stations to house farms, labs, and material processing equipment.


Take the role of a flight engineer and keep your station's equipment running smoothly.


Stranded in deep space means food and water isn't exactly easy to come by. Explore wrecked stations, build farms, and mine asteroids for valuable resources to ensure your survival in the hostile abyss.


Build and operate science facilities to unlock new schematics to expand and improve your station.
