About This Game

In the heat of battle, adversaries might opt to flee, surrender, or discard their weapons and possessions, prompted by exhaustion, fear, or specific injuries. The opportunity to execute a specialized finishing move on an opponent hinges on factors such as their stamina, health, and classification of enemy. These finishing maneuvers can be executed either in direct combat or stealthily.

Stealth and covert movement will be influenced by numerous elements, including light, noise, movement speed, clothing and the enemy's perception.
Additionally, how individuals respond to your presence will vary based on location; the wilderness presents distinct challenges compared to urban or rural settings.

Long-range weapons such as bows and crossbows aren't limited to stealth; they're accessible to anyone. Yet, there are specific skills that alter gameplay based on the class you're developing. You can learn pickpocketing and lockpicking to become a true thief.

You have the capability to craft a diverse array of items, spanning from clothing and weaponry to furniture, arrows, bolts, and more. Additionally, you can construct various building components.
Your crafting options range from simple beds to small dwellings, and even military watchtowers. Take charge of designing, building, and enhancing your abode and controlled locations, whether it's a rustic shelter amidst forest foliage or a fortified stronghold atop a hill.

Guide your troops into conflict with enemy camps or rival cities, always mindful that loyalty comes at a price—sustaining and directing the allegiance of your soldiers requires a solid reputation, social standing, and often substantial wealth and influence.

Control over points of interest can be acquired through lawful or forceful means, such as conquering bandit camps or purchasing logging camp rights to expand as a prominent merchant.

Once in control, locations generate profits based on their nature, be it from mercenary activities or criminal enterprises like a bandit camp under your command.

However, vigilance is crucial, you must be careful and know that your locations can be attacked by enemies and you could lose control of these places, therefore you must defend them, even personally if any are under attack.

At first, starting as a modest militiaman with a unique background, through accruing experience and refining abilities, you can ascend to leadership, capable of managing a prosperous Settlement.

Your status within medieval society may place you within a Guild, striving to enhance your circumstances and potentially acquiring businesses. Advancement avenues vary, encompassing honor, cunning, or diligent effort.

You require both shelter and sustenance to survive. Whether you choose a solitary existence as a hermit in the wilderness, reside in opulence as a wealthy noble, or wield influence over others with legal or illicit enterprises, your background and profession dictate your options.

Hunger and thirst will be significant elements, potentially becoming life-threatening (depending on the selected game mode).
Additionally, climate must be considered; enduring hours of rain or cold differs greatly from exposure to scorching summer sun, impacting your character accordingly.

There are multiple avenues to procure food, recognizing that starvation is not typical in the medieval society setting. Options include hunting, theft, purchase, and alternative methods of production, like farming.

The introduction of Prima Nocta rights by the kingdom's lower nobility sparked the catalyst for a brutal civil war that unraveled in the Battle of the Brides, In this conflict, the destitute rallied alongside just nobles and free men, only to suffer defeat, leaving the kingdom in ruins. Few men survived to return to their homes, you are one of them.

You find your village ransacked by vengeful marauding soldiers; This also happened in other settlements, where the ringleaders wreak havoc among the defenseless villagers, intensifying the turmoil of resentment and betrayal in the kingdom.

Faced with multiple choices, the pursuit of revenge and the quest to uncover the perpetrators emerge as the driving force behind the impending war.
