About This Game

Infinity space effect

You play as the scientist protagonist. It's the future, so almost everything is no-code. Conducting experiments is a very gamified experience. The scientist is working on the first AI indistinguishable from humans. That AI is the main character of the story, and it needs layers of humanity. Those layers are the level segments. They are placed inside one another infinitely many times. When transitioning through them, the camera enters segments within segments within segments…

Mechanics

You play with the three interacting agents in the psychic apparatus. The scientist is breathing life into the AI by controlling them. Each has its own unique movement mechanics and capabilities. Play with any one of them and combine their abilities to progress through cognitive training. EGO double-jumps and clings onto walls. ID slingshots through the corridors. SUPEREGO manipulates gravity. The game is built with advanced custom physics to make it extra smooth and fun.

Puzzles utilising space

Each level consists of several segments, stacked on top of each other. Under specific circumstances, you can separate them. Rotate them to create a new pathway configuration. It becomes even more interesting in the late game, e.g. when accessing the SUPEREGO level to open up the way for ID. This is where it gets increasingly mind-boggling.

Multi-dimensional side scrolling

The agents can move in a 2D area. Once you get to a corner, the frame of reference rotates towards the next side. The game has simple movement mechanics. The fog and rotations create a stunning sense of space. The combination creates an awesome experience. Awaken sentience with cognition.

UI as a futuristic operating system

The main menu of the game is an in-game desktop operating system, set in the year 2095. It allows you to explore the narrative interestingly and unusually. The OS serves as the main hub for gathering information about the plot and lore of the game. Awaken consciousness with memories.

Co-op all the way

The game is designed to be played as a local co-op or single-player experience, from start to finish. Play how you like, when you like, with whom you like. The game's themes will inspire conversations, while the gameplay will spark debates. The best part is that you can start alone, invite a friend when it gets complicated, and later continue on your own.

People tend to forget the true value and meaning of their existence — its expiration date. It's the busy day-to-day life we lead. The game asks a profound question — what does it even mean to be human? It takes you to the roots of your humanity. It accomplishes this with a set of complex puzzles and an intricate storyline. What's required to constitute your existence? Is a set of memories and behaviours enough, or does it require a body of flesh and meat, and if so — to what extent?
