About This Software

THE GUNSMITH FOR YOUR SCREEN

Aim Down Screen (ADS) is custom reticles and overlays for your game! Tired of having the gaming companies control when or how you see your reticles? Would you like to improve your skills and extend the hours of game play you enjoy?? ADS does this and so much more.

ADS goes way beyond static reticles - you can customize WHAT you see and when.

How would you like:
  • A different reticle for Hip Fire?
  • How about something small for Situational Awareness (just running around)?
  • A customized reticle for when you ADS?
  • Enhancing your brand or stream with your own custom reticle styles and widgets?

ADS also has widgets that can be used to help with where the information is in various game UI or for providing extra content and entertainment for your stream!

ADS isn't just a "Tape simulator". Remember the days of putting clear tape on your monitor with a dot in the middle? Well, that's where this all started almost a decade ago. And during that time, we've uncovered some real science behind why it's so effective.

Science

Ever notice how when you sit down to play a game, the first 2-3 games look incredible - you can see the entire screen, you see the maximum amount of frame rate your mind will process, and you “feel” better with your movement? Then, after a few rounds that drops off and you’re focused in on the “area of focus” (AOF) - which, for FPS/TPS games, is usually the diameter of a silver dollar on any average 1920x1080 screen. The result is:
  • Diminished peripheral area.
  • Accommodation and Vergence

Accommodation and Vergence:

Accommodation is the process by which the eye adjusts its focusing distance, while Vergence is the simultaneous movement of both eyes in opposite directions to obtain a single binocular vision. Prolonged screen use might involve a specific focusing distance, and shifting to look at something else requires a change in accommodation and vergence, which could influence the perception of depth.

Essentially, your eyes will accommodate the 2.5D world of the video game, and in doing so, perception and reaction are affected - and that leads to bad habits to compensate as well as frustration and eventually, you stop playing. No gaming company wants you to stop, and no gamer wants to stop.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

* The background scene of the in-door shooting range is AI generated
* Some of the widgets use pre-rendered graphics
* Some voice overs for widgets use pre-rendered AI files
