Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It is unlikely I will finish until sometime in 2025. This project is the equivalent of an animated feature film produced by one artist, and there's an immense volume of work to do. I hope that releasing each Chapter individually as they are finished will provide an enjoyable way to follow the development.

I don't expect anyone who enjoyed Part One would want me to compromise the quality to see what happens a few months sooner. Still, I am working as hard as I can and I appreciate your patience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to include a total of four chapters in South Scrimshaw Part Two.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“South Scrimshaw Part Two will release on Early Access with finished artwork, audio, and story up to the end of Chapter 5. This release may receive minor edits depending on feedback, but all development work will be focused on creating addition art and expanding the narrative.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“South Scrimshaw will always be free to play. I may offer additional paid DLC to help raise money.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan on relying on the Steam forums and Twitter to communicate with fans.

I hope to be more transparent about what I'm working currently working on and share the process with my readers. I work long hours every day on this project. Seeing the evidence of work can go a long way in absolving frustration from long waiting fans.”
