Hypotheses on the Symmetry between Vision and Hands
The hypothesis regarding vision-hands symmetry is a validation experiment where separate characters are controlled with the left and right hands. It measures the connectivity and enhancement of cognitive character recognition through both hands and vision.

Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The goal is to get feedback from people who are not good at action games. This game consists of three major elements:

Controlling two characters with different movement speeds simultaneously with both hands
Inputting movement direction, jumps, and dashes at the right timing
Difficulty based on the layout of the stage
By receiving feedback, we aim to achieve a good game balance that provides both frustration and a sense of liberation for those who struggle with action games.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The Early Access period will continue until the developer deems that a good game balance has been achieved, offering both frustration and a sense of liberation for those who struggle with action games. The current estimate is about three months, but this may vary depending on the amount and content of feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There is a possibility that the game balance may be adjusted. The developer might make adjustments to achieve a good game balance that offers both frustration and a sense of liberation for those who are not good at action games. As part of these adjustments, if it is deemed necessary to have more practice-oriented stages, there might be additional stages added.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Please check About this game section.
The game is in a fully playable state, with localization in both Japanese and English. Achievements and rankings have also been implemented, but the rankings may be reset if there are significant changes to the game balance.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“In the process of adjusting to achieve a good game balance that offers both frustration and a sense of liberation, there is a plan to increase the price as new content and features are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve players in the development process through the Community Hub's forums. By collecting feedback on preferences and issues related to action games, we aim to adjust the game to achieve a good balance between frustration and a sense of liberation.”

About This Game

Experiment Participation Information

Thank you for your interest in our hypotheses regarding the symmetry between vision and hands.

In this experiment, we will measure the ability to transmit information from vision to the brain and from the brain to the hands using a game. We will also verify the improvement in this ability through repeated trials.

The game involves controlling two hands, one with your left hand and the other with your right hand, to reach the goal on the stage. The hands can change their movement direction, jump, and run.

While the game is primitive, controlling two characters independently with separate hands may cause significant stress to participants. Please do not continue the experiment if you find it too stressful, and take breaks as needed.

* Features Included in the Game Used in the Experiment

  • Top-down view action

  • Action that can be frustrating

  • Brain training

Detailed information about the game is provided below. Please review it before participating.

Game Rule 1: Character Control

In the game, you will control a male hand with watch connected to the red line with your left hand and a female hand with bracelet connected to the blue line with your right hand. You will use their movements to progress through the stages.

Keyboard

  • Change direction for left hand: WASD

  • Jump for left hand: F

  • Dash for left hand: C

  • Change direction for right hand: OKL;

  • Jump for right hand: J

  • Dash for right hand: M

  • Open menu: ESC

GamePad(Xbox)

  • Change direction for left hand: Left stick

  • Jump for left hand: Left trigger

  • Dash for left hand: Left bumper

  • Change direction for right hand: Right stick

  • Jump for right hand: Right trigger

  • Dash for right hand: Right bumper

  • Open menu: Y

Game Rule 2: Goal

Each stage in the game has a goal. The red circle represents the male character's goal connected to the red line, and the blue circle represents the female character's goal connected to the blue line. Reaching the goal will advance you to the next stage.

Game Rule 3: Gimmicks

There are gimmicks corresponding to each color.

Try interacting with them using the hand of the same color.

We look forward to your participation in the experiment.
