“Gamebox has all the basic features at launch, but we will need to observe how players use Gamebox and listen to any feedback on how to make it better. Players can upload user generated content and by doing so they will define Gamebox.”

“It will take roughly 3 years of development to leave Early Access.”

“Early Access is fully functional, but the content is limited. We plan on adding more Gamebox games, maps/levels and models over time. You don't have to use any of the included content though - feel free to use only user generated content if available.”

Gamebox is a free and open source sandbox game centered on user generated content. You decide what you want to play, be it in 3D or 2D, single-player or multiplayer, or create and upload your own games.

Features and content:

* Included are two very basic games in 3D and 2D featuring basic physics to demonstrate how Gamebox can load games

* Single-player and multiplayer games created by the community available in the Steam Workshop

* Create and upload your own games to the Workshop (read the Help section in-game for instructions)

* Both 3D and 2D are supported

* Games may be moddable by using the Workshop

* Some mods on the Workshop may be cross-compatible with multiple Gamebox games

* Made with Godot Engine
