About This Game

You’re trapped in hell with only one way out. HELLEVATORS is a fluid, fast-paced Roguevania set in Hell’s most accursed place - its transportation system. Jump, dash, slide and blast through enemies and Go With The Flow to become unstoppable. Carefully choose your path and complete quests for Hell’s inhabitants to claim rewards - tailoring your build around hundreds of unusual, overpowered and downright weird items.

FEATURES

• Locked in a Hellevator? Fluid movement is key to survival. Dodge enemy attacks, jump from wall to wall and bounce on enemy heads whilst you shred them to bits. Hell hath no fury like a commuter scorned.

• Play as Cate, a lost soul riding Hell’s elevators alongside its strangest commuters. Chat with Hell’s inhabitants through branching dialogue and learn their motives, moods and stories. Want to help them? Complete their quests to earn rewards.

• Complete quests, spend the souls you’ve claimed and… dive into dumpsters for weapons, knick knacks and upgrades. Collect them all and build an arsenal of possibilities. One soul's trash is another demon’s treasure - before coming to Hell, you never knew how handy a fedora could be.

• Craft unique builds that fit with your favourite playstyle. Achieve eagle-eyed accuracy with night vision goggles and a sniper rifle, or transform into a close-ranged tank with a platemail & shotgun combo. Fancy a wilder approach? Purchase a screwdriver… a little mechanical sabotage could make for an explosive ride.

They’re locked in here with you. Don’t let Hell’s legion overwhelm you. Stay agile with crisp and fluid movement that allows you to manoeuvre around enemies - avoiding their clutches for long enough to enter a flow state and jump from wall to wall, gunning down enemies with deadeye accuracy. Want to add insult to injury? Bounce from one head to another and become untouchable. 

WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU…

With unlimited possibilities, every death only makes you stronger. Make deals with devils, spend the souls you amass and create a build that radically alters your playstyle. Take a shot of espresso and load your machine guns to overwhelm your enemies with speed and bullets - or grab some money bags to avoid Mammon’s hellish item shop taxes. Can’t make your mind up? Are you actually a kind soul? Play as Cate, a recently deceased spirit accidentally sent to Hell as she navigates through Hell’s Elevators, meeting a cast of strange and occasionally helpful weirdos. Offer advice, humour them, or pay them no notice - your actions will grant you upgrades and new possibilities. Not everybody in Hell wants your soul…
