What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As since the first prototype, I want to continue working with players and streamers to bring the best possible gaming experience. So I want to expand the community around a new genre of horror game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It is planned until the end of 2024”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As the game develops, I plan to incorporate different gameplay mechanics:

Realistic damage management: Injuries to the player will lead to gameplay modifications, if you're bitten on the leg, you will limp, be slower, and make noise. On the arm, your aim will be affected. (currently being integrated)

Interactive door system: They will serve to slow down the monster, can make noise, and will be destructible. A classic but effective feature.

Complex AI for the monster: Inspired by the behavior of a cat, curious, elusive, cunning, capable of setting traps, it can observe you without attacking, capable of fleeing or appearing through traps or windows.

Realistic weapons: Pistol, shotgun, assault rifle, knife. A simple arsenal combined with destructible scenery. Playing as a young woman, the recoil will be significant and the creature is weak but very fast. You will be tested to make your shots count.

The map: it is drawn up in a last-minute rush with varied levels both in scenery and in types of available weapons, one part is made up of a maze of ventilation tunnels with simple glow sticks so as not to get lost and a knife while being pursued. From an old house, a laboratory, a flooded area, a cornfield, or a farm barn. The settings will be quite numerous and qualitative.

*Two difficulty modes:

Normal: you will be able to heal your injuries and will have a bit more ammunition.
Simulation: you will not be able to heal, so damages will be permanent, and you will have little ammunition.
You will be able to save.
The game aims to be realistic, you will not have a HUD, no information on bullets, no aiming assistance. Your viewpoints are represented by your injuries. You will be able to finish the game injured like in an action movie.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You will be directly immersed in a limited game sequence named "1st Contact". The goal is to test the functionalities currently being implemented without revealing the entire game. Five versions are planned for the complete implementation of the systems, and we are currently at version 3.7.1, which includes the implementation of the damage system and will add complex abilities for the monster.

The current version includes:

No startup menu, but an in-game menu with graphical options and command indications.
The monster can injure your leg if it catches you, causing physical damage that alters gameplay.
You have the option to kill the monster, which can reappear in order to test it and optimize all game evolutions.
The Pistol and M4 are available for testing. (Implemented)
Doors are functional. (Implemented)
You will experience power outages, be careful. (Implemented)
Improvements and optimizations are made weekly in response to player feedback.
The game uses Nanite, Lumen, and Chaos destruction technologies. Optimization is continuous; you may encounter versions that are more or less demanding during their optimization phases. Provide as much feedback as possible on the appropriate sections. The game is currently stable and smooth.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, early access supports the game's financing. Therefore, I want to offer it at a very low price in order to work with as many players as possible. The game's price will increase until its final release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Just as I did with the initial prototype versions, I consider all possible feedback to enrich the game, thereby offering players a multitude of choices with the highest possible game quality. I encourage players to engage on Steam, which helps centralize feedback and ensures continuous improvement.
