« One Wallpaper OwO already works, but we're not done playing with it yet.

We're launching in Early Access because we want to keep expanding the application while getting feedback from the people who actually use it. The foundation is already here: images, GIFs, videos, playback controls, a wallpaper library, and desktop customization.

During Early Access, we plan to add more customization options, improve compatibility, polish performance, and introduce bigger features such as multi-monitor support and Steam Workshop integration.

We'd rather release a functional application and improve it together with the community than disappear for three years just to add a new button.

It works. We'll keep making it better. We'll probably add things we don't even know we need yet. (Who knows?)

Combien de temps environ ce logiciel sera-t-il en Accès anticipé ?

« We expect to remain in Early Access for approximately 2–3 years, although this may change depending on development progress and community feedback. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The Early Access version includes the core of One Wallpaper OwO: image, GIF, and video wallpapers, a local wallpaper library, playback controls, and desktop customization.

For the full version, we want to expand these features considerably. Some of our main goals include multi-monitor support, Steam Workshop integration for sharing and downloading wallpapers, more customization options, and general improvements to performance, compatibility, and stability.

We also want community feedback and suggestions to help shape what we add throughout development.

The idea is simple: Early Access already does what it promises. The full version will do more things that we promise to try not to break. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The current version of One Wallpaper OwO is fully functional and includes all the basic tools you need to customize your desktop.

You can currently use images, GIFs, and videos as wallpapers, create and organize your own library, control playback and audio, customize the appearance of your taskbar, and launch the application automatically with Windows.

We're continuing to improve compatibility, performance, and the overall experience, while also preparing new features for future updates.

You might encounter a bug along the way. If you do, congratulations: you've discovered a feature we didn't even know we had yet. »

Le logiciel sera-t-il tarifé différemment pendant et après l'Accès anticipé ?

« We don't plan to change the price after Early Access.

One Wallpaper OwO is intended to remain free, both during Early Access and after reaching its full release.

We want everyone to be able to customize their desktop without having to wonder whether a GIF of a moving cat is worth making a financial decision over. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« We want to develop One Wallpaper OwO by listening to the people who actually use it.

During Early Access, the community will be able to share suggestions, report bugs, and propose new features. We'll use that feedback to decide what to improve, what to add, and probably which weird bug to investigate at three in the morning.

We also plan to make use of Steam's community features and, later on, integrate Steam Workshop, allowing users to share wallpapers and discover creations from other users.

You suggest things. We try to make them happen. The computer decides whether they work. »
