Suvarnabhumi International Airport is the primary airport serving Bangkok, Thailand.
Pronounced “su-wan-na-poom” meaning 'The Golden Land', it is one of the largest and busiest airports in Southeast Asia and is a major cargo air freight hub for the region.
There are a total of 3 parallel runways, the third being completed in early 2024, along with a new satellite concourse supporting 8 more super jumbo gates.
When first opened in 2006, Suvarnabhumi held the record for the worlds tallest control tower at 132.2m
