About This Game

BUILD A HOTEL IN SPACE. MAKE IT A SUCCESS.

Build and manage your own hotel in space, welcoming travellers from across the Solar System. Build Bedrooms, restaurants, shops and recreation facilities, establish Tourism Agency contracts, attract private visitors and manage the crew, resources and economy that keep your business running.

Every visitor brings different expectations. The challenge is to build a hotel they want to stay in and a business that can afford to welcome them.

DESIGN YOUR SPACE HOTEL

Build from the ground up. Place walls, connect floors and construct Economy, Business and First Class Bedrooms alongside dining, recreation and essential services.

Room placement matters. Nearby facilities can increase or decrease Bedroom Desirability, while supporting rooms can improve food and service quality in neighbouring establishments. Install specialised modules to improve comfort, add functions or cater to specific visitor preferences.

Design a layout that works for your visitors, your crew and the growing demands of your hotel.

WELCOME VISITORS WITH DIFFERENT NEEDS

Earthborn, Lunite, Martian and Spacer visitors have different wellbeing requirements. Gyms benefit Earthborn and Martians, Neural Update Centers benefit Lunites, and Pharmacies benefit Spacers. Origin-specific Bedroom modules offer further ways to increase satisfaction, while utility problems can affect different origins in different ways.

Visitors also vary by wealth class and Primary Trait — Casual, Cultural, Foodie, Thrill Seeker or Business Oriented — influencing which experiences matter most to them.

Cater to a broad mix of travellers or specialise in particular origins, wealth classes and interests. Follow individual visitors, read their thoughts and reviews, and find out what they enjoyed or disliked about their stay.

ATTRACT VISITORS THROUGH AGENCIES AND PRIVATE TOURISM

Activate Tourism Agency contracts to bring regular groups of visitors. Agencies focus on different origins, wealth classes and Primary Traits, so choosing the right contracts is part of shaping your hotel's business.

Agency ships follow scheduled arrivals, but passengers won't necessarily stay. Provide enough suitable Bedrooms with sufficient Bedroom Desirability to welcome them and avoid fees for missed passengers. Use the Arrival Calendar to see upcoming Agency arrivals and forecast potential bedroom shortages. Complete Agency missions to upgrade your contracts and increase visitor traffic.

Build Private Spaceports to welcome independent travellers arriving in their own ships. Run advertising campaigns and develop your hotel's standing with different origins to attract more private visitors.

GROW YOUR HOTEL BUSINESS

Bedroom rents are only one source of income. Build restaurants, food courts, cafes, pubs and Hotel Stores, adjust prices, and improve food and service quality. Add recreation facilities to cater to different interests.

Private ships can also bring special visitors. Merchants rent Rental Shops, Companions rent Tea Rooms, Performers rent Entertainment Halls, and Diplomats rent Meeting Rooms, helping improve your standing with their origins.

These visitors require Bedrooms and pay rent for both their Bedrooms and the facilities they hire. Plan where to place your commercial rooms and which services best suit your hotel's visitors.

MANAGE YOUR HOTEL AND ITS ECONOMY

Hire crew across two alternating ten-day Rosters. Assign workplaces, provide crew accommodation and promote experienced employees as you organise construction, cleaning, maintenance, security and room service.

Balance your income from rents, food and drink sales and Hotel Stores against crew salaries, upkeep, supplies, Space Tax and other expenses. Higher bedroom rents can increase revenue, but decrease Bedroom Desirability.

Keep Energy, Water, Ventilation, Communications and Shielding capacity ahead of your hotel's demands. Maintain generators and support your food supply with deliveries and Farms.

Events can also affect your visitors, crew and hotel operations, from health emergencies to union disputes and scientific developments. Some unfold through multi-stage Event Chains, changing their effects as they progress.

RESEARCH AND PROGRESS

Build Laboratories and hire Scientists to generate Science and research technologies that unlock new rooms and specialised modules.

Complete organisation missions for rewards and progress through the Hotel Star Ratings by meeting requirements for rooms, facilities and visitor satisfaction. Achieving five stars unlocks additional rooms, providing new opportunities to develop your hotel.

SANDBOX AND CHALLENGES

Sandbox Mode: Choose your hotel's location in the Solar System and build a business your way. Design your layout, select the visitors you want to cater for and develop your hotel without a Challenge-specific scenario.

Challenge Mode: Take on different starting hotels, restrictions and objectives. Work through connected missions, adapt to each scenario's conditions, earn rewards and try to improve your score.
