What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This game is in early stage and I plan to develop it for next decade or two. For me early access means that the game is under heavy development and you can expect new features and bug fixes at least once a month. It is also time when you have impact on this product by giving me feedback in the Steam's community.
Some changes may also break old saves.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to make it a really long project so my current plan is a few decades.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My plan is to implement:
  • Better world simulation.
  • More monsters.
  • More DNA modifications.
  • User experience improvements.
I hope to get also ideas from Steam's community that can bring value to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Single map with single enemy. One dozen buildings. Only several of milions possible creatures.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will monitor Steam's comunity, especially, discussions. Any new feature proposal, improvement idea or reported bug is welcome. If you liked or disliked some game's aspect then please share your opinion so I can concentrate on most impactful features. I will be happy to hear what monsters you want to fight or what genetics traits you want to introduce in your tribe.”

About This Game

Overview

In this turn-based strategy game, you manage a tribe while evolving its DNA to adapt to challenges. You start with a small group including the leader that can collect DNA modifications on the map. As you progress, you can modify your tribe's DNA to enhance traits such as health, stamina, strength, defence, dextiarity, intelligence, or charisma, giving them advantages in combat or resource gathering. DNA change has impact on the hero appearance including look and color of eyes, hair, legs, hands, cloths.

You construct various buildings to support and upgrade your heroes. Each building has a specific function that expands your teritory, provides resources, or enhances the heroes' abilities. By strategically placing these structures, you can program your heroes' actions, directing them to gather resources, process resources or prepare for battles. The key is to optimize hero actions to progress through challenges to finally beat goblins.

Researching new technologies unlocks UI features and new buildings. As you progress, each research milestone expands your options, offering more ways to manage resources.

    • Sould shards that can be used to purchase upgrades

  • Short story in form of comics with two available endings.

What is this game NOT?

  • A perfect product - I spend only around dozens hours on testing this game, but if you found a bug please report it in steam discussions and I will try to fix it as soon as possible.

  • A game with a lot of animations - don't expect an AAA game. I made it for people that are looking for something original, not for players that expect only graphic from games.

  • A game with a campaign - the game has a single procedurally generated map.

  • A game with low entry threshold - you may want to skip this title if you frustrate quickly when you don't understand something because genetics and heroes programming are difficult to get concepts.

  • A game with unique music - it contains packages of music/sounds that you might have heard because they were purchase as bundles for multiple purposes.

  • Limited content - maps can feel empty and there are just a few types of ememies
