Why Early Access?

“Early Access is a good way to get feedback from a wider audience of players that can be used to better develop the game and make changes to the game sooner rather than later.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Episode 1 has already been finished along with the major gameplay systems (weapons, enemy code, arcade games, etc). The majority of development time will be in level development as well as new enemy types. However it is also difficult to judge how much time it can take to develop out a level. It might take anywhere between 1-2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game is planned to feature all 9 weapons (already coded but not all included in Episode 1), 3 full episodes planned at ~7 normal levels plus a boss level each, and have several more enemy types included. If the game does well enough to warrant extended development an extra character with their own play style and episode is also planned.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently has Episode 1 finished. All 7 arcade games are also implemented as well as voice acting. All of the weapons are fully functional but not all included in the first episode.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game is not planned to change between Early Access and full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback is going to influence game balance and level development just as the game's Alpha testers influenced the game before Early Access.”
