「We want to get the game out to our Kickstarter purchasers as soon as we can. we are a small team, and development has been delayed due to unforeseen life circumstances. We are still developing the game, and would love to have feedback from more players.」

「About 1 more year. We have already reached the Beta stage of our game, but are working on developing the final level designs and enemy interactions.」

「We hope to involve the community through a variety of avenues, including the Steam discussion forums, our twitter profile, and even through more live engagements and feedback over Discord.

We want the community to actively engage us with suggestions for for level ideas, balancing, performance, accessibility, and other quality-of-life improvements.

One of the core reasons for getting this kind of support during Early Access is: being a small indie company, it can be difficult to anticipate the nuances that come from a small testing group. For example, a mechanic that may seem trivial and simple to perform from the developers' perspective because the developer has tested the functionality many times during development, would actually turn out to be tedious or unclear to a general player. This kind of feedback will be invaluable to ensuring that we deliver a product that as many people as possible love to play and finds easy to use.

CardTD is a top down tower defense game, with a playful art style, and deckbuilding mechanics drawing inspiration from games like Dominion.

Unlike many card games players build their deck throughout the entirety of a level, purchasing the cards from an in level shop. However players can modify the card pool of this shop through ingame earned booster packs. Providing a lot of decision making and customization for players in how they will attack the challenges of each level.
