• Naked Sets (including Naked Single) - Cells in a region that only contain specific candidates, therefore these cells must be filled with these numbers
  
• Hidden Sets (including Hidden Single) - Candidates in a region that only appear in specific cells, therefore these numbers have to go in these cells
  
• Fish Patterns (including finned fish and mutant fish) - Elimination technique based on candidate distribution in base and cover regions
  
• XYZ-Wing - Cells with limited candidates where each cell sees others, creating elimination opportunities
  
• Unique Rectangles - Avoid multiple solutions by eliminating candidates that would create deadly rectangle patterns
  
• BUG (Bivalue Universal Grave) - Prevent multiple solutions when all cells have only 2 candidates
  
• Chains (AIC, including Turbot fish, X-Chains etc.) - Connect strong and weak links to eliminate candidates
  
• ALS Chains - Advanced technique using Almost Locked Set chains and restricted common candidates
