This DLC is a turn-based strategy simulation game.

• A unique perspective on the late Eastern Han Dynasty: After the Chanyu, Qiangqu, was assassinated by his own people, the Southern Huns fell into endless internal strife. Meanwhile, with Zhang Ju and Zhang Chun dead, stability gradually returned to You State under the rule of Liu Yu. Although the flames of the anti-Dong Zhuo coalition did not seem to reach the northern border, the Black Mountain Army still posed a constant threat to Ji State. In this DLC, you will experience these turbulent times as Jü Shou, an official of Ji State.

• Internal politics and micro-political simulation: As a subordinate official, you must carefully balance your relationship between your master and the various factions within your own power, cultivating interpersonal relationships with influential officials and colleagues. If your relations with any faction deteriorate significantly, characters associated with that faction may experience negative events, possibly leaving your forces altogether and directly affecting the storyline. In addition, your lord may not trust you completely and may not follow your every suggestion without question. Will you pander to your master's preferences or offer straightforward advice? Will you persuade rivals or negotiate through mutual interests? Will you compromise and submit or stand firm in your beliefs? Each decision is a test of your judgement, and each choice will determine whether you can turn the tide of chaos.

• Customize troop types, strategies, and equipment with limited resources: In normal gameplay, it is impossible to equip everyone with the highest-level weapons or armor, nor can you develop an unstoppable elite unit easily. Gold and feats are strictly limited, so you must manage these resources carefully.

• Flexibly coordinate your units to accomplish mission objectives on the battlefields: Adapt tactics flexibly according to battlefield conditions, utilizing the unique systems of "Formation Changes", "Military Orders" and "Siege Equipment" to accomplish various battlefield objectives with varying difficulty. You will select different routes through stages, ultimately achieving one of three distinct endings.
