¿Por qué ofreces acceso anticipado?

«The game is a stable version that is ready to play, with minimal bugs, although the overall future plans for it are extensive.
There are several additional features that are planned to be added later on in the development stages, and those will take some time and effort to be completed.
After each feature is done, a new stable game build will be released which includes that feature for the players to enjoy.
Therefore, it's more fitting to put the game in early access until the features are done.
That being said, each release during the early stages will be a stable one, with minimal bugs.»

«The additional features that are planned before the game can be fully considered complete are:
* Enemy ships that are spawning in the world which the player need to maneuver against and defeat.
* Player stats in an RPG style. The player is gaining exp points for his completed objectives and enemies defeated, which he can use to upgrade his overall stats.
* Missions for the player to do in order to gain items and exp points.
* Online play including support for several players in a single server.
* Procedural planets which will probably be the most substantial addition to the game.
Based on the current asteroids that are spawning in the game, the idea is to generate full procedural planets similar to the asteroids but in a much larger scale, for the player to explore.»

«Skybase is playable with minimal bugs during it's pre-release (early access) stage.
The players will receive a working version during each release in the early access,
which includes completed additional features, until the fully finished version of the game.

The current playable gameplay includes:
* Building any ship with any size from scratch: small, mid and big.
* Exploring space and mining astroids for metals and materials.
* Fighting against enemies spawning on astroids.
* Several ships discoverable.
* Different astroids with various shapes, tunnels and caves.
* Several blocks, unique blocks and personal weapons and items.»

Welcome to Skybase, a sandbox spaceship building and space exploration game.

Starting for a basic simple spaceship - enjoy exploring space, eliminate enemies you come across, and mine different metals and materials needed to fix or expand your ship.

Build any type of spaceship that you desire by simply spawning a ship core and adding various blocks to it in any way shape or form that you want.



Each block is crafted from different materials and metals that you mine around, with each one having different purposes assigned to them: Some are used as effective shielding to your spaceship, while others act as weapons or mining tools.

It is possible to attach several ships together to a single mothership that you control and explore with.



The goal in the game is to level up the player, expand your spaceship or spaceship fleet, take out enemy ships and take over ship freighters in the game.
Leveling up the player give the player option to upgrade his skills including: health, melee weapon power, ship module weapon power, mining effectiveness and more.

The more you progress and level up, the more powerful freighters, enemy ships and mobs you encounter.

You can take over freighters in various ways. For example:
  • You can blast the pilot controller with your ship, which can be challenging because the controller is protected the most with weapon modules.
  • You can land with your ship using a magnet module on the freighter and drill down into it.
  • You can use smaller ship opening to land your ship inside those opening and then handle various mob enemies until you get to the pilot controller.

    Exploring the ship freighter can be beneficial because of various materials that you can mine inside of it.



    Unique Items

  • Ship Core: Used to allocate a ship core.

  • Mining Tool: A tool that mines blocks x2 times faster than any other object.

  • Fix Hammer: Used for fixing a damaged block if the player has enough materials.

  • Level Up Tool: Used to level up unique blocks, making them more powerful.

  • Laser Weapon: - Melee weapon that shoots laser projectiles and a beam. Has Laser module version that can be added to a ship.

  • Chloro Shotgun: - Melee weapon that shoots shotgun bullets and a piercer beam. Has Chloro module that can be added to a ship.

  • Amethyst Gun: - Melee weapon that shoots rate fire projectiles and charger beam. Has Amethyst module version that can be added to a ship.

    The weapons and guns uses specific ammo ore that needs to be mined around.



    Keys

    General

    • WASD - Movement.
    • M/ESC - Access menu (items, crafting, keys and saveload).
    • F - Pilot ship / Exit ship.
    • Shift - Sprint with a mob or a ship.

    Mouse keys

    • Left mouse - Action / Mine.
    • Right mouse - Add a box / Action.

    Mob - ground mode

    • Space - Jump.
    • Long space - Go to space mode.

    Mob - space mode

    • Ctrl - Go down.
    • Space - Go up.
    • Q / E - Roll.

    Ship mode

    • Ctrl - Go down.
    • Space - Go up.
    • Q / E - Roll.
    • V - Change view.
    • F - Exit ship.
    • G - Detach ship ( If attached to another ship via magnet box ).
    • Left and right mouse button - Use ship item.



    Future developments
  • Procedural generated planets.
  • Online play.
