Why Early Access?

“The game is a stable version that is ready to play, with minimal bugs, although the overall future plans for it are extensive.
There are several additional features that are planned to be added later on in the development stages, and those will take some time and effort to be completed.
After each feature is done, a new stable game build will be released which includes that feature for the players to enjoy.
Therefore, it's more fitting to put the game in early access until the features are done.
That being said, each release during the early stages will be a stable one, with minimal bugs.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 6 months to a year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The additional features that are planned before the game can be fully considered complete are:
* Enemy ships that are spawning in the world which the player need to maneuver against and defeat.
* Player stats in an RPG style. The player is gaining exp points for his completed objectives and enemies defeated, which he can use to upgrade his overall stats.
* Missions for the player to do in order to gain items and exp points.
* Online play including support for several players in a single server.
* Procedural planets which will probably be the most substantial addition to the game.
Based on the current asteroids that are spawning in the game, the idea is to generate full procedural planets similar to the asteroids but in a much larger scale, for the player to explore.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Skybase is playable with minimal bugs during it's pre-release (early access) stage.
The players will receive a working version during each release in the early access,
which includes completed additional features, until the fully finished version of the game.

The current playable gameplay includes:
* Building any ship with any size from scratch: small, mid and big.
* Exploring space and mining astroids for metals and materials.
* Fighting against enemies spawning on astroids.
* Several ships discoverable.
* Different astroids with various shapes, tunnels and caves.
* Several blocks, unique blocks and personal weapons and items.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game will increase in it's final version after all the features are completed.
Until the final release, during the early access, the price may increase based on the features contribution to the overall gameplay.
However, players that will purchase the game early will receive the additional features in the early access for free, so buy the game today)”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will modify the game based on players feedback that we receive in our discord servers, forums and social media.”
