Why Early Access?

“I am confident that we will be able to produce better results if players (club owners) join us from the early stages of development. Rather than unilaterally imposing our ideas on team owners, we want to pursue a direction in which we can integrate each other's ideals. As a result, we (developers and team owners) will all decide together and move forward in the direction in which this game will develop.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It is expected to last approximately 1 to 2 years. However, predicting the exact Early Access period can be difficult. We will be listening to team owners as much as we can while in Early Access, which may make it difficult to determine when the game will be completed. However, despite this, our main goal is to provide quality games to club owners. Until then, please feel free to let us know your thoughts via our Discord channel and email.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Features coming in the future include:
○ We plan to add various contents such as scenario mode and daily dungeon. Each content is designed so that you can obtain unique material items and parts.
○ We plan to add a tournament mode so that club owners can play the game in more depth. We will also hold tournaments periodically and give out small prizes to those who achieve excellent results, so please look forward to it.
○ We plan to add tools to help club owners create their own artificial intelligence models. Team owners will be able to see the robots they create move, attack, and evade according to their intentions.
○ We plan to add an exchange where you can buy and sell artificial intelligence models. On this exchange, club owners will be able to freely trade artificial intelligence models created by themselves. Become a club that leads the meta and trends!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The versions currently available include:
○ Club owners can achieve victory through battles with other club owners, gain an upper hand in the rankings for each season, and make their name known.
○ All team owners can create their own unique robot (AIGear). The created robots can be combined in thousands of different ways to suit the tastes of team owners. Build a robot that matches the team owner's taste with head, arms, torso, legs, and even intelligence.
○ Each robot has the ability to make decisions and move on its own. We have created reinforcement learning models appropriate for each situation through reinforcement learning a large number of times. The models created in this way can serve as an on-board brain for each robot, adding fun to assembly.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“AIGears has no plans to raise prices when it releases the full version. However, if further details or changes occur in the future, we will update the answer to this question on Discord.”
