About This Game

Embark on a voyage of the discovery of nature in KOSMOS, a first person exploration-adventure game set in the Age of Enlightenment. You set sail on the vast oceans and delve into the lush wilderness of tropical islands to help legendary explorer Alexander von Humboldt finish his final work by capturing the wonders of the world through the lens of an ancient camera.

In this non-linear journey you will experience the stories of historical figures, navigate through unpredictable seas and make nature your own. Make use of natural resources from venomous plants to colorful flowers in the dense tropical jungle and process flora and animal products to helpful aids. Experience the interconnectedness of natural environments and meet wildlife creatures from vibrant Iguanas basking in the sunlight to majestic condors flying over snow-capped mountains. But beware, because reckless exploitation of the dynamic natural environments can bring whole ecosystems out of balance.

KOSMOS is a dreamlike odyssey that playfully embeds the beauty and the limits of nature and resembles the naturalist researchers and explorers that pioneered the modern understanding of our Kosmos.
