A galaxy that lives without you

Every journey begins in a freshly generated galaxy with its own history, nations, alliances and rivalries. It doesn't wait for you: wars are already being fought, deals struck and schemes hatched. You're just one ship among the stars.

Do whatever you want

• Trade — haul cargo between systems and profit from other people's conflicts.
  
• Fight — attack, defend, pick a side, or look out only for yourself.
  
• Build bases — settle on planets and turn them into a home.
  
• Mine resources — everything your ship and crew need has to come from somewhere.

It's all about the people

Your crew are more than numbers. Each member has needs you have to look after — tired, hungry, unhappy people don't work well. A well-kept crew is the key to a long voyage.

As long as someone's still alive

The game goes on for as long as you have at least one crew member left. Lost your ship, but someone survived? The story isn't over yet.

And if everyone's gone — don't worry. Assemble a new crew, fit out a new ship and set off on your next adventure. The galaxy is vast, and there's always room for one more story.

A strange and chaotic place

The galaxy is full of dangers, and not all of them can be predicted. Every journey creates its own stories — funny, tragic and completely unhinged.
