「Early access has core features implemented to give the users an authentic feel of ROAL: The game already offers an exciting mix of third person action, RPG elements and management gameplay.
  • 5 Single player match modes
  • 1v1 and FFA multiplayer matches
  • Single and Multiplayer gladiator progression
  • 4 Fight styles: Murmillo, Dimachaerus, Thraex and Velites
  • Dynamic gladiator and equipment marketplace
  • Gladiator Management: heal, train and level up your gladiators

Most of ROAL is controller supported. Combat is fully supported but UI is only partial. We are working on getting full controller support across the board but for now we recommend navigating UI with Mouse/Keyboard.

Due to unreal engines unstable groom system, we disabled all character hair for the initial early access release. We want to prioritize a smooth and consistent gameplay experience over a minor feature that is causing the application to randomly crash

As a new Ludus owner in ROAL, you're thrusted into a brutal world where only the strong survive. Forget the tales of heroes and quests; here, your glory is carved from blood and sweat of pure combat. Our game combines intense third-person action fighting with deep management mechanics, offering a singular focus on the visceral thrill of gladiatorial combat.

Take on the single player match modes and level up your gladiators or chance multiplayer, where the winner is given choice of mercy or take their opponents life PERMANENTLY.
