Story Overview 

A quirky RPG inspired by the first character name my wife ever created in an MMORPG(Ericanskinsmonsters). 

Help Erica (the skinner’s daughter) gather her three chaotic companions before embarking on an epic quest to slay the God-Beasts and save her world from monsterkind. It won’t be easy, since your allies include a double-spirited/personality-fractured drunken knight; an elf who loves hunting and firearms far more than she should; and a goblin healer whose thirst for power grows with every God-Beast he absorbs. 
Someone has got to save the world… even if this crew barely qualifies. 

Game Overview 

This is a story-rich, single-player, turn-based RPG set in the realm of Strifestav. 
Embark on a main questline where you’ll gather your party, hunt for treasure, and defeat monsters for loot to upgrade weapons, armor, and spells – all preparing for the brutal battles against stronger monsters and God-Beasts ahead. 

Maps/Size: 
Explore 90+ handcrafted zones, including shops, inns, dungeons, towns, houses, and world maps. 

Combat: 
Strategic and unforgiving. 
Fights consist of enemies and players using over 200+ abilities and 100+ status effects, with mechanics such as cooldowns, resistances, dodge, stuns, ailments, and even instant death. 
Save often, because when night falls, the undead grow stronger and more numerous-draining your resources faster. 
Rest at campsites (if you have the wood!) to recover health and mana or to skip the dangerous night hours. 

This is not a lighthearted RPG; it’s a brutal tale filled with adult themes, violence, strong language, and raw determination. 

Are you ready to embrace vengeance and fight for a dying world? 
Well… too bad. You might actually be the one who destroys it. 
This apocalyptic journey is not for the faint of heart. 

Classes

Once assembled, your four-member party will feature five distinct classes alongside a powerful summoned flesh golem. Customize your team by purchasing spells from shops to fill gaps in your strategy and tailor your gameplay to your preferred style, but be careful of the weapon requirements of specific skills and limitations of mana.

Flaymancer - Uses rogue-like attacks to deal massive dmg to target causing bleeding.(Also studied Golemancy and uses 20 flesh to summon a formidable golem named Drippy when in dire need)

Markswoman - Uses firearms and explosives to deal heavy damage and inflict status effects on enemies. Lucy has had some rough time as a child and shares no love for animals.

Knight-errant - A banished knight with a grim past who has sworn to protect you and will sacrifice himself to defend his allies. He uses heavy armor, shields, and has abilities which allow him to bolster defense/taunt/and stun

Bloodzerker - This character disregards safety and focuses on inflicting brutal damage as if his life depends on it. The Grimlock does massive damage and heals off the damage dealt. He also starts with 0 mana and sacrifices his own life to increase his power & perform devastating blows. Due to Grimlock's nature, he is immune to light based effects including heals from his fellow members. 

Sorceror - Highly magic based and uses healing/cleansing spells to restore the party. Is also the major spell damage user of the group so choose wisely when you prioritize your damage over your healing sustainment of your team.

GOLEM SUMMON

Erica's golem summon has incredible resilience and power. You must collect 20 skins from battle drops in order to summon him, and while he brings devastation....his time is limited. 

Quest system

A quest system is implemented to keep the players targets of revenge in mind and highlights the main quest only. There are hidden quest, secret treasures, and clues for legendary weapons and armor scattered throughout Strifestav which would greatly aid you in journey if you choose to seek them out. These hidden events are not tracked on a quest log. Due to this loose guidance it gives the game a less linear feel, but ultimately specific things must be accomplished or killed to increase progression.

This game is created with RPG MAKER MV and is compatible with Mouse/Keyboard(I also added ASDW controls), and Xbox type controller features along with Steam Deck devices. (When the user is playing with a controller, move the mouse cursor off-screen for a better gaming experience.) The game also uses many JavaScript addons by Yanfly/Terrax/TheUnproPro to include Battle Engine Core/Quest Journal/Shop Menu Core/and many others.

This purchase includes the Windows PC version of the game Ericanskinsmonsters.

This game contains a large variety of music/sound/audio tracks by Eric Black, RPG Maker MV,  Karugamo, and other artist

Several maps within the game were auto-generated using the built-in RPG Maker tool and were additionally modified to meet specific design needs.(random map generation is not active/capable in game) Sprite characters to include their text facial images were created using character generator tools within RPG MAKER MV software. Additionally, the title screen/Library asset artwork were generated using AI tools and then edited to fit the game's aesthetic.

The game includes depictions of alcohol use, subtle references to drug use (e.g., consuming mushroom-like characters in desert maps), and significant violence, such as cartoon characters being murdered, goblins enslaved, fight scenes, and encounters with monsters and the undead. It features a dark, gloomy atmosphere with minor jump scares. There is a few scantily clad artworks within the game such as a succubus enemy, but they covered. There is no nudity or explicit sexual content.
