「Our first stray cat, intelligent and well-behaved, has long since become an integral part of our lives and a beloved member of our family. Now, she has spent 11 years with us, and her daily activity has visibly decreased while the frequency of her vomiting has increased. I fear the day we must part, as the passionate love we have shared has formed deep emotional bonds.

This brings us to the original emotional motivation for this project. The separation between lives is an eternal pain and an unavoidable topic. What we can do is to leave traces of our love in this world. Thus, we decided to create a game where more cats can continue to bask in the sun in a cyber space that is always sunny, never bullied, and full of love.

Initially, this was just a simple cloud cat-raising interactive experience. However, as we played and tested the game ourselves, we gradually introduced simulation management elements and continuously enriched and expanded the content. This led to the creation of the initial version of "CatffeeTime!" After several iterations and reconstructions, the game now incorporates elements of simulation management, character development, stealth missions, city exploration, customization, and cat breeding, along with various mini-games. Despite this, we still believe there is room for improvement.

Given the limited resources of our team, we decided to adopt an Early Access model. Through this approach, we hope to invite a wide range of players to join our development process, helping us to refine and expand the game content. We aim to ensure that players with diverse preferences and needs can engage with this game and enjoy the beautiful and joyful experience we intend to provide.

「Currently, the basic framework of the game has been largely completed, and the main structures and mechanics have been well demonstrated. However, the content of the full version will be expanded based on feedback received during the Early Access period. In addition, we will continually optimize the game, adjust the gameplay experience, and fix bugs.

Therefore, we anticipate that the Early Access phase will last about six months. However, this timeline may be adjusted based on player feedback and potential new content.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「"Catffee Time!" combines multiple gameplay modes. In our development plan, aspects such as cat interaction, decoration, breeding, and competitions have not yet been opened. We will gradually introduce new cat breeds, a variety of coat colors, and diverse personality traits to provide cat lovers with an immersive pet care experience.

In terms of shop operation, we still need to perfect features like staff and franchise management, as well as in-game seasonal changes and special events. The product line of the shop will also be continuously updated, unlocking new food categories and recipes to give players a more diverse management simulation experience.

We plan to add more maps full of surprises to enhance the fun of exploration gameplay; at the same time, we will also add more decorative items to deepen players' customization experience.

Furthermore, we will introduce new game content based on the feedback and suggestions from players during the Early Access period.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「Currently, the Early Access version includes three main features: stealth exploration, cat care, and café management. Although there is still some way to go before we reach our planned content, the main structure and foundational elements are now available for an initial showcase.

At present, the game includes 100 drink recipes, 22 pieces of furniture, 33 types of food ingredients, and 29 cat-related items. Cat coat colors are generated based on serialized design patterns, theoretically offering over 50 variations.

Players can unlock recipes, purchase furniture and ingredients. During the day, you manage the café and care for the cats, while at night, you explore the wild to rescue various stray cats. The next day, you can see the customer ratings for your café.

More game content and features will be introduced in the full version.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「As we continue to add more content and features, the full version will significantly improve in terms of content and stability compared to the Early Access version. Therefore, we plan to increase the game's price at the launch of the full version, depending on the content available at that time.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「Before the official release of our game on Steam, we have been in close communication and collaboration with our community players. We regularly discuss game mechanics and user experience with players, taking their feedback and suggestions seriously. We are eager to engage with more players to discuss various suggestions, bug reports, and player feedback, which will help us further refine and expand our game. Together with the players, we aim to create a fun and engaging game.
