為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「While massively fun, Hypersomnia's servers are usually empty.
We need singleplayer content to make people stay, for example bots.

I wish Hypersomnia thrives as a community-run eSports hub. For that we still need more customization capabilities like scripting to keep the game alive for years to come. Before these are addressed, Hypersomnia cannot be considered complete.」

  • Bots.
  • Server-side scripting.

「The game is already fully playable with your friends over the network.
You can:
  • Fight for your rank in the global leaderboards! We have a rating system in place.
  • Play the classic Bomb Defusal mode (even up to 6v6) or Free-For-All where every man is for himself.
  • Use the built-in Editor to create custom maps.
  • Host your own server on your PC immediately from the main menu - even behind a router. This way you can choose any map and mode to play with your friends.
  • Host your own servers running 24/7 on a dedicated machine (or a VPS) that cycle custom maps of your choice.

「No. It's permanently free and open-source. No hidden payments. There will never be a way to spend money in Hypersomnia.」

「Continuously sharing insights, reporting bugs and creating content on our official Discord server at https://discord.com/invite/YC49E4G - the home of our community.
This is where we will:

  • Collaborate on more community maps. They'll be added to the official collection where everyone can download them from the main menu.
  • Organize tournaments together to awaken the eSports spirit.
  • Balance all weapons so that the mechanics always remain competitive.
  • Share feedback on server scripting/administration capabilities so that Hypersomnia becomes truly extensible without limit.
  • Write custom game modes (once scripting is implemented) perhaps even creating entire campaigns.

Hypersomnia is a hardcore arena mixing eSports with pixely nostalgia.
Every match will be unforgiving - every duel a psychological battle.

Unleash your creativity in the WYSIWYG in-game map Editor that lets you instantly playtest your maps online.

It's all free and open-source.
Written without a game engine, in bare C++. Only 50 MB.
Feel free to build it yourself from GitHub and modify Hypersomnia to your heart's content.

  • 24 unique firearms.
  • 2 game modes: Bomb defusal (team-based) and Gun game (free-for all).
  • 6 magic spells, 4 grenade types and 7 melee weapons.
  • An in-game map editor that lets you host a work-in-progress map to test with your friends in a single click. Quickly iterate your map unlike in any game engine.
