Dig a Little Deeper is a base management and construction game, where you must make your small colony of lost travelers prosper. The outside is an inhospitable wasteland, if you hope to survive you will have to take refuge underground, and find what you need there. Dig, explore, farm and research, and maybe you can make this planet your new home.



Make sure your colony has what it takes to make your colonists happy... or at least survive day to day. Excavate and prepare bedrooms and bathrooms, add a rudimentary kitchen, add some light, and voilà, a home!



Explore for seeds and new plants. Grow them with love and in the right conditions, and you will harvest the success of your colony. Discover cooking recipes to give your settlers a moral boost, or develop mutations to make your plants produce even faster. Everything is not enough for your settlers!




Use fuels such as coal and oil to generate electricity and industrialize your colony. Something will have to be done with all that CO2 but... it can wait, I guess. In the meantime, make sure your settlers have room to breathe while you search for a solution to your most pressing problems.




With the necessary time and dedication, your colonists can learn new technologies and knowledge. Invent new buildings, discover better techniques, make your settlers live better and learn to use your resources more efficiently. But be careful! If you lose your settlers, their knowledge will also go with it. Make sure they write down their research so their legacy (and yours) lives on.




This planet was not always an inhospitable wasteland. With some effort and inventiveness you can surely find a way to return it to what it was, a place full of natural riches and where life grew and prospered. Although you can also take advantage of the resources to launch yourself into space in search of another home. The choice is yours!
