Repugnant Bounty is a Metroidvania title heavily inspired by Metroid II, Super Metroid, and Cave Story. Following the game play loop of Metroid II but with the exploration and theming of Super Metroid, many references and Easter Eggs can be found in the game so be on the lookout for them!

WARNING: Repugnant Bounty was originally intended to be played on a small non-back lit screen from the 90's. The game contains a considerable amount of flashing lights for visual effects. Please be aware before playing, and do not play Repugnant Bounty if you suffer from a condition which makes you prone to seizures.

The raw Game Boy Color compatible ROM file is included in the files for the game, so if you want the intended experience and have a way to play it on real hardware, it is highly recommended you do so.
