At the two ends of the silo, there are two worlds separated by a hundred years.

Valentia is a continent on the other side of the world well. In the future, 100 years later, a powerful empire has risen in Redimus, opening the way for foreign expansion. Valentia suffered heavily from the invasion and was devastated. Years after the defeat, the survivors have decided to use a wormhole to travel back in time and stop this brutal war before the gears of fate begin to turn.

The World Well: Blood of Caro is a narrative-based text adventure game that follows the experiences, growth and choices of two female protagonists “4” and “Norma”, as they embark on a journey for their own purposes, struggling or drowning in the current of the fate.

Characters

4:

A cold-blooded killer, “4” has always been indifferent, hiding her inner vulnerability and uncertainty. Her discriminated identity makes it difficult for her to integrate into the society of Redimus, and she can only wander in the dark side. By the end of her journey of vengeance, she is tired of this lonely and sinful life, but she doesn't know how to change it.

Noma:

Strong-minded rookie agent and member of the Valentia Resistance, Noma joined the Resistance to avenge the deaths of her family during the war. He has a strong sense of purpose for his mission, but is often nervous and uneasy about it. After being wounded in battle, he had to switch to a mechanical body to continue his life, and his original image became active in front of people in the form of a projection.

Story

Embark on the journey with a girl from the future, the journey may shake the fate of this world

4 has no name, and was sold to vampire nobility as food and a "blood bag" until a killer broke into the manor and saved her. The killer raised her, teaching her culture and the art of making a living. But the good times didn't last long, as the killer dies in retaliation by the nobles and 4 embarks on a path of vengeance in her grief.

It is an extreme spiritual need, so at the moment of fulfilment, 4 finds herself losing all purpose in life, as if only a reunion in hell lies before her. The only question is how to get there with dignity. Just then, an airship that doesn't belong to the magical world falls from the sky and crashes in front of 4. The female android, who knows all kinds of Incantation, dragged her broken body and told her that a journey to hell had begun...

The World Well

The World Well is a giant structure, named for its almost cylindrical shape. The well is dotted with land shaped like flower petals, and has spawned countless civilisations and is the source of magic's power. Redimus

Redimus is where the story begins. A world reborn in ruins, it has spawned civilisations of many different races fighting over the Quartz, the main source of energy used to power magic. In the eighth century of the Rikki era, the invention of the "Chanting Machine", a magical device capable of automatically chanting spells brought the entire continent into the industrial age of magic.

A variety of new automated magical devices rapidly entered the work and life of the people. What followed was the huge consumption of quartz resources, causing countries to fall into a fierce competition for quartz veins. At the same time, the industrialisation of magic has also resulted in the unemployment of a large number of workers and low-ranking mages, and the world has been plunged into ever-expanding conflicts, and the shuffle of war is inevitable.

Vampire

Vampires are a powerful race in Redimus, possessing incredible magical power and resilience. They are militaristic, preying on human flesh and blood for food, and their greatest weakness is their fear of sunlight. Fortunately for them, however, they are guarded by a near-eternal dusk and night in the shadow zone created by the plate's shading.

Caro

Caro is A vampire-human hybrid, unrecognised by vampires due to its overly human-like features. Their unusual red pupils were also rejected in human society, and over time, they were distinguished by the name “Caro”. It has become a kind of "humanoid livestock" that is tacitly permitted to be sold as food for vampires to eat.
