«We have decided on Early Access because we want to create the best game possible by the time of its planned release. Based on the feedback, we will address any potential shortcomings in the game to rectify as many issues as possible in the shortest time frame.»

«We plan for The Whims of the Gods to be in Early Access mode for three months. We will make every effort to stick to this timeframe.»

«We plan to introduce improved resource management balance, human needs, and the overall city builder layer. We want to enhance the balance of the auto-battler and add refined unit statistics and changes to their abilities. There's a plan to add Quality of Life solutions and a larger map. The Whims of the Gods should be a better-optimized game.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«Because of the high level of gameplay complexity and the multitude of parameters, the game requires extensive testing to enhance the final gaming experience. There may be various types of errors present in the game. Early Access aims to catch and eliminate them due to our community feedback. We are reviewing the possibility of adding new game endings based on the dev team and community ideas. In the future, we plan a single-player campaign and a proper tutorial.»

«The price might increase during or after Early Access as work on supporting and expanding the game continues.»

As the Great Creators of this Steam tab, we wanted to add that The Whims of the Gods features a unique co-op system in the genre. Instead of competing, cooperate. However, remember that even the best players can have conflicts.

We allowed players to activate special abilities during battles, such as mass healing or dealing increased damage to enemies, depending on the technological advances and buildings placed in the city. We like watching people kill each other. We eat popcorn while we do it…

MAIN FEATURES

🏝️ The game offers cooperative gameplay for two players, allowing them to build an ancient city together. Because we will allow it!

🏝️ The implemented combat module based on auto-battler mechanics serves to defend the city from a growing threat, and the key decision system allows players to determine their role in the development of the city and how they will develop it technologically.
