Miksi Early Access?

The Neverwhere Tales - Book 1 is a story-heavy episodic visual novel currently planned to have around 11 chapters. The Early Access release contains the first 5 of those chapters. This represents an estimated 5-7 hours of gameplay based on playtesting averages but heavily depends on reading speed.

All through development, player feedback is crucial for the quality of future chapters.
While I know where the story will go eventually, how it gets there may change based on player input.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

It's hard to predict just how long it'll be in Early Access. My current development time is roughly 5-6 months per chapter. That means 2-3 years until it is completed at the current speed.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The plan is to have many more hours of content in the full version.
I expect it to contain around 11 main story chapters with approximately 15-20 hours of content. Additionally, I plan to add more features throughout development, such as a Replay Gallery or translations to other languages (like German or French).

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

As of now (Chapter 6 in development), the game contains roughly 135000 words, around 7000 renders, around 150 animations, an image gallery, a gallery for cinematics, and an overview for ingame achievements.

“Yes. The price of the game will gradually increase during the development cycle as the game gains more content.”
