«The full version is planned to have a story element that is provided through rescuing and recruiting AI companions that the players interact with. This planned addition could move the game from limited lore about the world and the player's place in it to an interactable living environment that unfolds through the introduction of new recruitable AI companions. These AI companions could be chosen to follow and assist the player during combat and leisure.

There already is a robust prototype of player cosmetic and functional customization. This prototype is planned to fully expanded to include customizable weapons, vehicles, and companions both cosmetically and functionally. Some of this is already done and in the works.

Steam players can join each other's games and bring along their personal inventory and progress. In the final release, the player might have choices of save files to load before joining other players. No promises, but the ultimate goal is to have dedicated lobby (homeworld) servers that players meet up in and join groups. The party leader would then take the party to other worlds hosted peer-to-peer. The game is currently only peer-to-peer. Dedicated lobbies could have something around 50 players per lobby instance. Players should be able to choose which lobby instance to join, and icons on the lobby browser will indicate which friend is in which instance. This is all dependent on funds.

Throughout early access, many worlds, enemies, weapons, vehicles, and gear are planned to be added to the game, so that by the full release of the game there could be plenty of content.

Players will have a way to track achievements and obtain titles. Potential for New Game Plus feature that resets mining progress to obtain titles that gives some small benefit and for flexing.»

«Exoforge has a lobby world where players can learn the ropes of the game, and do more advanced crafting and exchanging. There are several unique hand crafted worlds that are large and intricate enough to provide replayability. These maps have diverse enemy types that will challenge players in both single-player and coop as the difficulty will scale by player count and map location.

Players can loot and mine resources for crafting alternate items that will aid players in creating a loadout that feels customized and tailored to their playstyle or mood. The game does not feature a corporate ladder to climb in stats, rather the life of Exoforge will expand laterally, both in challenges, items, and abilities. No need to log in for dailies or weeklies, you can enjoy the new content as it comes often, and then take a break.

Players can craft and drive several vehicles while other players can mount the vehicle with their weapons and special vehicle weapons.

Melee, ranged weapons that damage, heal, rearm, and reenergize are at your disposal for assisting other players and eliminating enemies.

Loot, mine, and craft an already decent amount of items. Store gear in the home world, or bring it with you on the dropship. Trade with other players and manage your personal and group inventories.»

«The game will be priced half off during early access. When the full game releases it will cost less than a triple A game, but twice the early access price.»

«Through the official Exoforge discord server, where players can meet up and take on the challenges together in Exoforge. Bug, feature request, general chat, and special member channels are available for the community to interact with each other and the developer.

Art channels will serve for the community to upload images of concepts for items, worlds, or enemies in the game that the developer can choose from if there is enough community support behind any particular concept and it is feasible.

Kickstarter and Patreon will be a way for the community to help make Exoforge even better through financial support. And of course, the community will have access to both communicating and staying informed through our Social Media platforms.»
