“We plan for the full version to include additional game mechanics, an expanded story, and more detailed mission quests. As development continues, the scope and features may evolve based on feedback and progress.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We have worked hard to deliver a good fulfilling experience. Ninkyo Dantai is a top-down, turn-based yakuza game centered around a murder mystery. The Early Access build includes city exploration, story progression, and character interactions, along with separate turn-based combat encounters throughout the city. It also features light JRPG elements such as collecting gear and accessories, and customising your home with furniture.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game will be cheaper while its still in early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have an active Discord server where we collect reports, feedback and polls. Every patch we also release a form available in-game. This feedback is extremely valuable as it has shaped the consequent patches.”

About This Game

Embark on an exciting journey as Shinji, a former street racer who has been given a second chance at redemption. Sent to the picturesque Japanese town of Buruwasu to escape his criminal past, he finds himself embroiled in a mystery when he stumbles upon a protest over an unsolved murder. Using your sharp investigative skills, gather evidence and build a case to bring justice to the troubled city and restore order to the once peaceful streets of Buruwasu.

Buruwasu – A City Built on Secrets

The main story unfolds in Buruwasu, where every alley hides whispers and every storefront masks tension.

Investigate crime scenes. Press citizens for information. Track inconsistencies. Piece together evidence. The deeper you go, the more dangerous the truth becomes.

Beyond the Main Case

The world extends beyond Buruwasu.

Travel to Ichihara, Konan, Yokyohama, and Nagasegai for optional side content, underground dealings, and personal stories that reveal the wider criminal landscape.

Over 100 side quests expand the world — from street disputes and debt collections to hidden conflicts that never make the news.

Not every fight is part of the main story.
