“Our demo phases showed us how valuable player feedback is. Early Access allows us to work directly with our community to create the best possible game experience.
Reaching a larger player base sooner allows us to gather more comprehensive feedback.”

“We plan for roughly 12 months in Early Access, though this may adjust based on community feedback and development progress.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Ruins to Fortress will be free to play throughout Early Access and will remain free after its full release.

We’ll offer a single, optional DLC that will receive ongoing updates with fresh content like skins, backwall tiles, and more. This will be the only DLC we ever release for the game. Additionally, some skins will be available for separate purchase, but there will never be in-game currencies, or similar monetization systems.”

Ruins To Fortress - A 2D survival game focusing on base building and PvP/PvE gameplay.

Welcome to Ruins To Fortress, a thrilling 2D survival game currently in development that puts you in a world of base-building and intense PVP combat. Prepare to embark on a journey as you navigate a harsh, abandoned island teeming with danger and opportunity. Gather resources, construct shelters, cultivate plants, and forge tools and weapons to survive. Feel free to install the separate dedicated server or host the game yourself. Help us stress test the servers as we raise the maximum capacities during Early Access.

Gameplay

Survival Mechanics: Players start naked, armed only with a club on an island, and must gather basic resources like wood, stone, and food to survive. Unlike other survival games, food is not strictly necessary for survival but provides health benefits.

Crafting: Ruins To Fortress offers an extensive crafting system, allowing players to create a wide range of items, from simple tools and weapons to advanced technologies. Resources like metal, cloth, and animal hides are used to craft equipment that facilitates survival.

Base Building: Base building is a central aspect of the game. Players can construct shelters to protect themselves from other players, NPCs, and animals. These bases can be attacked and looted by other players, making the game particularly exciting and competitive.

Raiding: Another characteristic element of Ruins To Fortress is the raiding of other players' bases. By using explosives and other tools, players can breach enemy bases to steal resources and equipment.
