Welcome to the Border Post, a decaying junction of two lands. You are a Clerk, in charge of the maintenance of a never-ending Train crossing the border.

What's in the Train? What's beyond the Border's massive wall? Something is wrong.

THRESHOLD is a short, dark and atmospheric First Person Exploration game picturing disturbing facts about an untold brutal story of our world.

HOLD STILL, HOLD YOUR BREATH

Your shift begins in a decaying Border Post, at the top of the highest mountain of your country. Out here, the air is so scarce no one can afford speaking. It's up to you and your partner Mo to stay alive and ensure everything holds in place with the limited tools you have: a Whistle, a Bucket, Planks and Air Cans. Your country needs you. The train has to keep running for the water to keep flowing.

THE MOST BORING AND STRESSFUL MAINTENANCE JOB IN THE COUNTRY

• Survive the lack of air by consuming Air Cans and avoiding the waste of Energy.
• Whistle to the Train to keep accelerating its speed.
• Clean up the water filter.
• Meet and care for a new friend.
• Learn from your coworker while he writes you instructions.
• Send letters to the Capital to get answers about your findings.
• Focus on yourself and your wellbeing.
• Explore an interactive a̶n̶d̶ ̶m̶̶̶y̶̶̶s̶̶̶t̶̶̶e̶̶̶r̶̶̶i̶̶̶o̶̶̶u̶̶̶s environment.

YOUR CHOICES, YOUR STORY

The game assumes a semi-linear form, your decisions and actions matter and can result in several endings.
