『Burning Sword: Death Sun』 は、プレイヤーが古代の武術の世界へ。トップランクの剣士である張一閑（チャン・イーシェン）は、倒れた師匠の復讐を果たすため旅に出た。挑戦的なソウルライクなゲームプレイと、スムーズな動きで表現するハック＆スラッシュゲームプレイをシームレスに融合させ、他にはない独自の体験を創り出す。

ストーリー
混乱と激動の時代、抑圧と暴虐が蔓延する中、さまざまな武術の門派が勢力を拡大し、王国全土を支配下に置いた。支配権をめぐる果てしない戦いの中で、武術の達人たちは自分の前に立ちはだかる者を容赦なく倒していく。紅塵魔門の首領である張一閑（チャン・イーシェン）は、地獄の底から現れ、最高支配者である高天啓（ガオ・ティエンチー）への復讐を誓う。二人の強大な武術の達人による終わりなき戦い、その勝者はただ一人。
