Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access for Burning Sword: Death Sun because we want to involve the community in shaping the game. While the core combat and gameplay mechanics are solid, Early Access allows us to refine the experience based on player feedback. This will help us fine-tune balancing, improve content, and ensure that the full release delivers the best possible experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to spend about another 1.5 years on development and will release updates every 3 to 6 months. These updates will include the next chapters and complete the story and gameplay systems.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature all five chapters with unique enemies, diverse environments, and intense boss battles that challenge the player. Additionally, players will have full character progression, unlocking powerful abilities and legendary skills as they advance.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are currently developing the Beta version, which will include two chapters, four bosses, and the ability to unlock basic skills and core gameplay systems.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will change after the Early Access period. We will announce the details at a later date.”

About This Game

Burning Sword: Death Sun immerses players into an ancient martial world, where Zhang Yìxian, a top-ranked sword master, seeks to avenge his fallen master in a seamless blend of challenging soul-like gameplay and fluid hack-and-slash action, creating a uniquely captivating experience unlike any other.

Story

Amid an era of chaos and turmoil, marked by oppression and brutality, various martial sects expanded their dominion and seized control over the entire kingdom. In the relentless pursuit of dominance, martial masters fight and kill anyone who gets in their way. Zhang Yìxian, leader of the Crimson Dust Demon Sect, emerges from the depths of hell with a singular purpose to take revenge on the supreme ruler, Gao Tian Qi. An endless battle between two formidable martial masters, but only one shall prevail.
