Miksi Early Access?

We are a small indie team that came together to create a game entirely through our own efforts, without using AI.
All high-resolution pixel graphics, illustrations, and BGM are handcrafted by people.

It’s true that producing these assets takes a lot of time, but we see it as a necessary step to meet our quality standards. In addition, early access is essential for refining the overall polish and completeness of the game.

Therefore, we plan to first present a partially completed version of the game to players, gather a wide range of feedback, and use it to fix issues such as bugs and balance problems, ultimately improving the game’s overall quality.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

After starting early access, we are aiming for a development period of about one year, but the official release date may change depending on shifts in the development direction.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full release will be significantly different. Specifically, at least three chapters and their storylines will be added, along with new companions, artifacts, and more. We aim for each chapter to introduce noticeable system changes that players can clearly feel.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The core gameplay systems are already complete, and the game is fun to play even in its current state, offering solid systems and a replayable experience. While about 40% of the full content is finished, we plan to focus on polishing and expanding the remaining parts at a rapid development pace.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Yes, we are open to listening to a wide range of feedback and may consider adjusting the price upward. In addition, at the time of full release, the price may be revised to reflect the completed content and the improved overall game experience.

We see ARCHETYPE BLUE as a project we build together with you, our players. As a small indie team, we actively welcome feedback through the Steam discussion boards, our Discord community, and email, and we strive to thoughtfully consider every piece of feedback and incorporate it into the game.

In ARCHETYPE BLUE, a deck building rogue-lite game of collecting, using, and strengthening cards, players are invited to become legendary heroes who embark with their companions on expeditions into the various parts of this fantasy world.

Lead your venturing party successfully to their destination using a deck suited to your own particular tastes and strategies. Use a combination of skill and magic cards to crush your enemies, all while various random elements affect each expedition and the battles inside them, providing more to entertain and immerse.

《 A deck that gets stronger the more you play it 》

Cards a player can use are divided into five categories: attacks, skills, blessings, curses, and dreams. Players must come to understand the distinguishing characteristics and effects of each card they have and collect other cards to build a strong deck. They can also strengthen cards during expeditions, increasing their power.

《 A series of unexpected encounters! 》

Luck is just as important as strategy here! The random elements encountered in all sorts of situations can turn any expedition on its head. Handle each unknown encounter carefully and reach adventure’s end safely with your companions.

《 An adventure party to suit your tastes 》

Choose one of the legendary heroes and set out on an adventure. Going alone is certainly fine, but recruiting some help will make the expedition go that much smoother. If you want to form the strongest expedition party, you’ve got to make sure your companions are well-matched!

《 NPCs make adventuring that much more interesting 》

As you carve your path through the field, you may encounter some new faces. From card collectors selling random cards, to goods merchants ready to help strengthen cards and sell some items, a clown tossing around dangerous jokes about gambling, and more, make all sorts of new relationships on your journey. Your future may change depending on how you interact with them.
