Miksi Early Access?

Maze Engine is an ambitious project, developed by a passionate solo developer. While a significant amount of content and a diverse range of maze experiences are already playable, I'm launching into Early Access because I believe player feedback is crucial to fully realize the game's vision. As a solo developer, your insights, bug reports, and suggestions will be invaluable in refining the core of the game.

Beyond just polishing what's already here, Early Access is a fantastic opportunity to truly understand what you, the players, want from a diverse collection of maze-based experiences. I'm eager to hear your ideas for new game modes, features, or improvements that would make Maze Engine even more engaging. Your participation will not only help me refine existing content but also actively shape the future direction of the game, ensuring it becomes something that resonates with maze lovers of all kinds and ultimately builds towards a game that everyone can enjoy.

Additionally, I would love to add both local and networked multiplayer to some of the game modes, but this is a massively time consuming part of development which has not yet begun to be tackled.

The game will likely remain in a stage of development for 1 - 2 years.

Additional Game Modes and Levels.
Support for many additional types of mazes (Currently limited to Square, Hex, or Cube)
Local and Networked Multiplayer Support
Higher levels of polish, and optimizations.

Maze Engine is already deep into development, with at least 5 playable game modes, and many levels for each. I have packed AS many maze generation algorithms as i could into this bad boy; including ones i have developed myself, and there are still more to come!

Maze Engine offers an In Game Level Editor as DLC content.
This DLC can be used to create mazes, as well as level / gamemode settings.
Owners of this DLC may share their creations on the Steam Workshop.

Anyone can download and play the mazes from the Steam Workshop (Even those who do not own the DLC)

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

It's highly likely the price will increase by release. The game will be much more feature rich, have more gamemodes, etc by then.

Community feedback is vital to Maze Engine's development journey. Our main channels for communication and collaboration will be our official Discord server and Subreddit. We'll use these platforms to:
