It's summer. School is out. A child is watching planes fly overhead. A truck in the distance approaches... What would you do if you were doomed to your bedroom, due to circumstances out of your control?

Take control of a pilot created from the imagination of a child. Embark on 7 different stories told by 7 different pilots through 4 Chapters.
The ORANGE CAPSULE MILITIA is a superpower bent on dominating the world. What do they want? Where did they come from? Why the colour orange?

-ALERT system activates after meeting the BIRD OF PREY.
-ALERTS make the stage more difficult by introducing more enemies and new types of enemies.
-ALERT stages are the best way to get DOGTAGS.


-Keep the COMBO METER full by eliminating enemies. There are 4 (DEMO) combo levels:
CHILL
DEADLY
STYLIN
TWEEKED
The higher the COMBO LEVEL the better the rewards (powerups, PilloBucks, RareMetals, DOGTAGS, etc..)



ACE- A hotshot pilot. Searching for someone from his past. (available in demo)
VIXEN- A pilot of flexible abilities. Longing for a pilot named ACE to notice her. (available in demo)
SMOKESHOW- A careless pilot. (Is smoking allowed in the cockpit?) (available in demo)

ACE ROCKET- A hard locking seeker missile. Will lock any enemy on screen. MEDIUM damage. Loads 4. (available in demo)
AEROPOD VARIABLE SYSTEM- a pod is ejected from the wing. Many small soft locking seeker missiles launch from the pod. LOW damage. Loads 2. (available in demo)
METEOR CANNON- A wing mounted cannon that shoots flak bullets. Bullets cause damage on impact or explode when near enemy crafts. MEDIUM damage. 25 rounds. (available in demo)

-Each Chapter consists of a main path and optional path. To gain access to the optional path a certain condition must be met in another mission. Each main pathway is divided by Story segments.
-In-game story is handled through VCOT (Video COmmunication Technology). Hear and see your support team. See and hear enemy and ally pilots.
-Each MISSION is limited due to FUEL. When FUEL runs out the MISSION is completed. There will be MISSIONS where certain side conditions also need to be completed. There are times when extra FUEL is added to your craft and other conditions will determine if a MISSION is successful or not.
-PAPER PLANES PLUS uses the DYNAMIC PAPER SYSTEM. DPS affects how the player aircraft handles damage. Damage to the player aircraft can cause SPECIAL WEAPONS, and STINGER MISSILES to lose function. The aircraft may also become less wieldy in flight with no wings. GET a REPAIR item to FIX the aircraft.
-These are some PILOT ABILITIES:
AUTO REPAIR fix your aircraft completely.
STEALTH allows the aircraft to move unhindered, able to pass through projectiles and enemy crafts.
FLARES shoot forward. 3 FLARES will block and attract enemy missiles and bullets.
-When the Player aircraft is destroyed the PILOT will eject. This is PILOT MODE. PILOT MODE allows the player to stay in the fight. Shoot with your PILOT PISTOL and use CHAIR BOOSTERS to move up and down. Destroying any enemy in PILOT MODE will always drop a PLUS UP item. GET a PLUS UP item to GET another aircraft and continue the MISSION.
-Two advanced maneuvers are available to each PILOT:
AIRBRAKE/AIRDODGE- Pull to the left to activate the AIRBRAKE. The aircraft will increase speed to the left and get out of harms way. Advanced use will allow the PILOT to AIRDODGE. AIRDODGE allows the player to pass by bullets and missiles that would otherwise hit the aircraft. Use the AIRDODGE to become the ULTIMATE DOGFIGHTER.
SPEEDBREAK- Tilt to the right for a short time and the aircraft will boost forwards accelerating more quickly.
A BLACKOUT is a negative effect. BLACKOUT occurs when the PILOT goes upwards for too long. The screen will flash BLACK then back to normal shortly after. This is not good, as enemy projectiles will be difficult to see.
-DOGFIGHT MODE is activated when engaging the specialized enemy squadron known as BIRDS OF PREY. The player aircraft will now operate in FULL 360 degree MOTION around the area.
- MISSIONS occur at the moment of need and call. Therefore CIVILIANS may reside in MISSION AREAS. To help reduce the loss of CIVILIAN LIFE, CIV MARKERS are awarded. If a PILOT chooses to destroy a CIVILIAN, that PILOT will receive a CIV MARKER. COLLECT 5 CIV MARKERS in a MISSION and you will be given a penalty. CIV MARKERS are wiped after each MISSION.


There are 2 BONUS MODES in PAPER PLANES PLUS.
2 PLAYER COOP ARCADE and 2 PLAYER VERSUS
2 PLAYER MODES are subject to changes as they are still in early development. They are playable in the DEMO.

Online Multiplayer Requires users to have accounts with PARSEC. Download at parsec.app

2 PLAYER COOP ARCADE puts 2 players against a never ending onslaught of enemies. PLAYERS will face an assortment of enemy placements and BOSSES from the STORY MODE. Get the HI SCORE by downing enemy crafts. This mode ends when BOTH PLAYERS are destroyed.

2 PLAYER VERSUS pits two players against each other. Use ESS FK-14 DOGFIGHT PLANES to determine who is #1. Each Plane has the same loadout. The difference is projectiles can be used to block other projectiles. Blocked projectiles will produce a colourful smoke. Don't lose sight of the prize though eh!?

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL UPDATE: HOLD L2 while cursor on PETS in the HUB MENU SCREEN. A Sound will be heard and the words "HALLOWEEN MODE" will appear at the bottom left of screen. ( Due to how scary Halloween is, EBOMBS will no longer have any affect on enemies)
